I love how cognizant coach is at 4:15 when telling Jalen what he did wrong. Turns his back to the camera so that it cant be seen what he is saying. Similar to how Ime covers his mouth during games when hes getting into a player fore messing up. Just shows such a great deal of respect for the players imo
Jalen will be really good one day. But I don’t know if we’ll see it as a Rocket. Jalen needs to have some gap years to refine his craft. Offseason is just not long enough.
I agree 100%. Granted Greens offensive rating isn’t great. But his defense is among the tops in the whole association! Green playing defense at this level is amazing. His defense alone will keep him on the court! And we all know there is elite offense there, that the coaches are trying to lure out.
If either one of them makes one of those 20 missed shots .... they are up by 1 or 2 instead of down 1. Still have to give credit to Jalen for getting possession of that loose ball and knocking down both FT to win it.
Only just a decent defender in the eyes of the jaters. Not every sg is willing to put in the effort to b a good defender for the team. A simple fact folks seems to gloss over as they long for a new shiny sg
It's an improvement, but he's third worst on the team (even Reed's is better). How much of it is him and how much of it is being a part of an incredibly great defensive team?
I saw Adams playing in preseason and I said start with Sengun and Green but then stagger them and put Green with Adams and Reed with Sengun. I hate always being right......you know that feeling as well.

Green has been B to B+ on defense for me. I know what the data says and I just think that it’s off. Not that I’m smart enough to explain it and maybe I’m just plain wrong. I just see an improved player who overall is a positive part of what has been an incredible season so far. This is a person with such immense athletic talents that if there is just one Or two more mental clicks in the right direction, he could still be a top player in the league.
No one is praising sheppard? Bruh look at the reply to your post. Go to the Reed Sheppard thread you will see all the boosters there jumping for joy every time Sheppard breathes on the court. Jalen with 8150 mins has shown you multiple flashes of brilliance along with steady defense every game. Sheppard's 285 mins is because he hasnt shown that he deserves more minutes. We have a gaping hole in the roster that he was supposed to address so the minutes are there if he was only good enough.
