Kamala’s campaign was pretty historic but she didn’t talk at all about the nature of her being a woman of color at all. However the MAGA billionaire pac funded machine defined her regardless through ads that were micro targeted even on streaming services etc. were they made her out to be running on something she wasn’t even running on. So it really doesn’t matter if you aren’t clearly defined for the voters in this modern era of idiocracy. Long story short though is the Democrats just need to have a long and wide open primary. Don’t encourage consolidation too early just to make sure you beat out someone you think will have trouble in the general. People forget Pete actually won the Iowa primary in 20 and because Bernie was looking pretty strong for Super Tuesday which would have possibly made him the favorite after, Pete and co. all consolidated behind Biden when they probably didn’t need to. But Bernie is a lot like Trump in terms of being so clearly defined and having a base of supporters that makes him an immediate force in a primary. So whoever is running just needs to keep that in mind. Now is the time to start building that base. Not in the primary. Clearly define yourself and have that THING be something even the dumbest American voters knows about you that when October ads in the general election show up, even these non critical thinkers know the republicans are just lying because they know you from years and years of you laying the groundwork about who you are and what you THING is.
When will progressives ever understand the concept that the democratic base are black voters. Period. 97% of black women in PA voted for Harris. Ninety seven percent. Bernie made ZERO efforts to shore up the black vote from 2016-2020. He was never looking good on super Tuesday as he had zero black support from the base. Bernie got less votes in 2020 versus 2016 in every single state. He didnt increase his vote share in a single state. In Michigan he lost EVERY county to Biden. He even lost the college towns to Biden. Sincerely why do yall have to lie so much? Youre an intelligent person

Of course Democrats understand black women are the most loyal voters. That’s why Bidens primary win in South Carolina changed the 2020 race. The entire party consolidated around Biden because of that recognition. B. Progressives are part of the Democratic Party coalition and you can’t win elections as a Democrat if they are split off because of annoyance with whatever it is that annoys centrists or whatever. Also black women can also be progressive. Either way it’s a coalition and Democrats IN THE GENERAL have to consolidate all factions of the voters. You can’t win without black women, you can’t win without progressives, and you can’t win without like 14 other sub groups of Dem voters. I don’t give a sh$t about appeasing one group over another or hurting feelings…. I care about fcking winning. C. In THE PRIMARY Bernie was favorited in 2020 before the Super Tuesday consolidation behind Biden not because Bernie had the majority of Dem voters. It was because Biden, Pete, Warren, etc. were all splitting up the votes among similar voters. You are completely misrepresenting or not understanding things. Most likely though you see half of one sentence, interpret some fight you perceive im trying to make and attack someone personally. Cut that sh$t out please. It’s not a personal attack.
