They are six months apart and one had a .793 OPS while striking out 160 times while the other had an OPS above 1.000 while not striking out all the time. You’re full of **** lmao
I remember when some of yall wanted to trade Tucker and more for Realmuto. it was a pleasure watching him grow up here. He’s on his was to a 450m+ contract and was never going to stay here. Today sucks but I’ll bid Tucker adieu. Thanks for everything, CHAMP
The new pitcher looks like a long relief/ spot starter type. He has a great WHIP and fans 1 an inning.
Tough day... But, since Luhnows departure we've seen a deterioration that has progressively multipled...exponentially. It's time to rebuild. Liquidate for prospects. No half neasures...forget about lukewarm limbo. I hate this deal because it lacks commitment and direction.
I would take Joe Morgan over Lee May. What does Clifford have to do with this deal? JV was obtained when the Astros were going for a World Series repeat. If Crane is not to going to play the $400 million + it will take to keep Tucker after the Soto and Othani deals, what would you have them do right now?
Yea I wish we got more than we did, but enh...The cubs get a 1 year rental. The Astros really need to find a way to keep Bregs tbh. If he does go, the Astros may have wished they traded for prospects over big leaguers
Agreed! Only way Bergman comes back is if he’s severely over valued himself. I only see the Astros budging if it’s negligible above their max offer. Wasn’t it Biggio that was about to sign with Colorado, but the Astros showed him good faith by upping the contract by a million or something like that?
Before today I would have disagreed with you. If Dana had gotten Shaw I probably would be thinking differently. SMH I like what I've read of Smith, but I wouldn't have done the deal without another top 100 prospect if Smith was the top minor leaguer in the trade. Trade everybody off and start over. Only problem with this is I don't want Dana to be the guy doing the trading. But I would love to play poker with him .
Mlbpipeline.com has him #73 and a 55 grade. Obviously different people and groups will have different opinions. Imagine you had a reservation at Turner's Cut But instead you decided to Go to Texas Roadhouse 3 times Go to Applebee's 5 times Go to a new unknown restaurant, when it opens next year, 6 times.
Its an overpay because of the question of do the Cubs pay him next off season. If Tucker walks this trade was dumb.
That’s interesting. I’ve watched it like 3 times and didn’t know he says that every season. Now I have an excuse to watch a 4th time. Thanks!
The best (not related to this), intro before the show, is him and Bunk and the "f**k" scene in the apartment
