    Solid win by the Rockets.

Jalen Green is making himself into a defensive first type player. I never would have anticipated that after he got drafted. You can tell he is getting a lot stronger and is ripping the ball away from defenders. I’m sure his offense will come around. So will be interesting what his ceiling is going to be.

F you, Steve. Your teams have benefited from so many calls, you should never, ever speak on officiating. Ever. Instead, be sure to send them all a nice Christmas gift, in appreciation of their help over the years. Crying on national tv, bruh get out of here.

Oh, and that was totally a 5 second violation. Ref took an interesting amount of time between 4 and 5, and looked like his arm had swung completely out anyhow. No Vegas for you, whiny b****!

He is a solid 3 PT shooter. He and Sengun were huge in helping us win that game. Those two had 20 more pts than Jalen and Fred, and only took one more shot. Honestly I'd love to see both Brooks and Jabari taking more 3 PT shots and Fred and Jalen taking less, but it never happens. Dillon and Jabari are our best starting 3 PT shooters by far. With our defense, having at least one starting guard with better overall shooting efficiency could take us up another notch.

Can't wait to see Steve Kerr's reaction to the 2-minute report as the NBA labels play after play as "incidental contact."

As that game seemed to end, even the national announcers appeared ready with the script of the Rockets as an up-and-coming challenger. Now, let's see if we can find any average NBA shooting to complement this game-wrecking defense.

High-stakes game against GSW in Toyota Center… 3s are not falling… Seen this movie?
    Nope!
This is a different movie! In this movie you have a center that you can throw the ball to and get you 26 points… and you win!

So glad that fraud is no longer here. You know who I’m talking about. The guy who "reinvented the game through math", the "3>2" guy, the "post-up is inefficient" guy, the "center position is dead in the NBA’ guy… That guy.

Strange ref call aside, that was a very satisfying win.

There was one play with about two minutes left, Smith and Sengun were out on the perimeter defending like they were the Terror Twins. And they just stifled the two-man game of Curry and Draymond Green. The defensive effort of this team is something else.

Got tied up with stuff last night and couldn’t watch the game but just watched the highlights.

Great gritty win by the Rockets!

Love the Clutch play at the end of the game!

LOL it looks like Sengun's gotten the "you know what I'm saying" bug. I think it's contagious.

I don't understand why this era of Rockets ball is hated on. We had multiple WCF appearances, we were contenders for multiple seasons, we rarely missed the playoffs and we got past the 1st round plenty of times. Sure, we didn't win a championship, but were you guys really bored during that era of basketball??

No one wants to see a game determined on a lose ball foul with free throws, but it should be pointed out that you have to actually go for the ball in a lose ball situation. Incidental fouls going for the ball shouldn’t be called but that’s not what happened. Dude basically horse collared Jalen on the ground. He wasn’t going for the ball; he was trying to to separate Jalen from the ball. There’s a big difference. Lose balls don’t mean you get to play tackle football. You have to actually go for the ball. The refs actually got the call right.

Jabari's offense has been down a little bit overall this season due to his ice cold start, but he's been shooting very well the past dozen or so games. His defense has taken a real step forward this season. He has his blocks up over 1 per game, which is what we need from a PF playing next to Sengun. His switching has been more on point, fewer lapses and less ball-watching. I think he's still an underrated part of the young core due to his disappointing rookie season and Tari's fan-favorite hustle from the same draft class.

Good teams need these high-end, tall/long three and D roleplayers. I wouldn't say Bari is a foundational piece like we hoped, but he is a very good complimentary player, and I hope we can extend him at a reasonable price.

I will never forget KD being able to walk 5 steps out of bounds and save a pass to curry....

Or harden getting undercut 4 times in game 1 with no call.

Lmao yeah I’m sure we would have definitely beat the KD Warriors with our current team playing like we did last night. Great post.

Morey and the Rockets revolutionized the game and the entire sport still emphasizes that philosophy to this day up to and including last years champs. 3&D will reign supreme until the advent of a 4 point shot and then it will be 4&D. I think the pesky 'woke' concept of mathematics keeps getting in the way.
