Losing player wins the game by making the winning play and free throws and all credit goes to the team around him.
If he was as advertised the interior is never shut down for him thats the point isnt it? Also stop saying his shot wasnt fallin thats something you say when a good shooter struggles in one game Ja'en is not a good shooter. His shot was normal. Thats the problem. He had a bad game but made free throws when it mattered so Ill give him that. Lebron cant do that lol
Yes? What point are you trying to make, that Shai is better than Jalen? Yeah man, he is. A lot better.
Bad night, From the only stsrter with a positive +/- From the player who made the clutch loose ball play to secure the final possession From the player who made 2 knock down freethrows to ice the game.
Exactly and Derrick White is way better than KPJ. You lost your point so long ago youre gonna need google earth to find it again.
There is a clear difference between Jalen's groove when FVV is out vs when they play together. I think FVV should be moved to make Green the primary ball handler. FVV doesn't create anything, and he uses sooo much clock. I will live with Jalen's turnovers, at least he can create for himself and others. I think Fred was brought in to make us .500 team. He did that, he steadied us to .500, but to take the next step, he's got to go. We are just a 2nd round exit team at best with him. If we ditch him, it could unlock March Jalen Green and put us into WCF contender, assuming we get continued growth from other players and Sheppard or Holiday can knock down 40% of their wide open 3's produced by Green's attacking. This isn't a crazy take, we are not exercising FVV 45 next season anyway, so I'm just asking for the Rockets to hit the fast forward button by half a season. I'd trade him to an Eastern conference team that is trying to make the playoffs, maybe for Ben Simmons and a lottery protected 2025 pick.
LMAO show me the stats that made you come to this conclusion please. So many of Jalen's fans blame Fred I want to see the stats please.
Lol alright man, my point is pretty clear but it's a shame you have gotten so confused you can't follow it. I think I'm wasting my time so I'll just leave it here.
You have told so many people that they dont get your point maybe youre having an issue communicating it
Just my eyes man. I'm allowed to have an opinion. Show me the stats that say we can win a ring with FVV and Jalen making 80M next season, show me please. I have to see it. It may be dumb, but I think this entire board agrees that something needs to change. Also, nobody is taking that 3rd year on FVV.
You cited box score stats and that doesnt reflect the game. Jalen did have 5 to's. His first was stepping out of bounds attacking the rim off an outlet pass. His second was an attack on the rim, where he lost the ball going to the rim. (I think he was fouled) Third, he was blitzed in backcourt and threw a lead pass to dillion who didnt go for the ball (imo). Forth was again attacking the rim and losing the ball out of bounds while probably being fouled but ultimately lost this one. Fifth i dont recall, but i am drinking. He was 5/15 but was aggressive and didnt settle. Made a difference on the turnover battle with 3 steals and 4 boards. His defense was also very good tonight and he switched very well. He boxed out well, hustled very well, and ultimately was the cause for us winning at the end with his effort. So long story short, I disagree with your point that he sucked tonight.
FVV is indeed not a guy who should be running the offense of a contending team. Problem is Jalen Green isn't either. The fact that they're both doing it on this team is more indictment of not having other options more than anything else. FVV is a great distributer but not a good scorer. Jalen Green even on his best nights is a mediocre passer. The Rockets need either Amen or Reed to get better and take over this role, or they need to trade for a star that can.
I'm probably on tilt. My logic is trying to accommodate Green's talent. I appreciate what FVV has done for the culture of this team, but if feels like he is our training wheels, and the Rockets either need to ride or fall, but we have grow up without him.
