Yes the Kurds have been screwed over by several US administrations. Even so I’ve heard from several people that the Kurdish area in Iraq is the most pro-American part of that country.

If you haven't heard leftists wax lyrical about Rojava then you aren't meeting leftists. This is like when people accuse Ilhan Omar of anti-semtisim because they say she only b****es about Israel and boycotting them when she has literally told Muslims to boycott a core Islamic practice of Hajj to boycott Saudi Arabia because of their genocide attempts in Yemen. But no one called her islamophobic for that take so she didn't have to constantly defend it and end up on the social media feeds of people like ATW. If you want to ask why the top line of discussion doesn't end up with debates about Rojava and the Kurds... Its because no one is being accused of anti-semtisim for saying they support Kurds or the Rojava project. Therefore there isn't this heated back and forth for expressing support for these entities so there isn't as much content generated about it. Remember @AroundTheWorld your content generators you are addicted to are based on tension and conflict in discourse because they maximize engagement and there isn't much tension in discourse amongst the West when it comes to supporting Kurds. No one is going to accuse me of being a bigot or anti-semite for supporting Rojava. No poo flinging back and forth means the algorithms that are shaping your world view don't like it because they don't enhance engagement.
