Came back to this thread to see how people are feeling about our prospects for solving illegal immigration now that Trump has been re-elected. So whaddya think? In 4 years, are we going to have this illegal immigration problem licked?

Breh I met Common awhile back in New York at broadway show
I was the only person who knew who he was cause the crowd was all artsy and not hip hop
Also he was in front of me in line so I had to say hi

Man the fact no one recognized Common in a Broadway crowd is proof we might be living in the darkest timeline. Imagine the dude who wrote The Corner getting cornered by a sea of people who think Hamilton is peak hip hop. We need a revival ASAP.

apparently the United States finally has a "border czar."

NYC Mayor Eric Adams set to meet with incoming Trump border czar Tom Homan next week

    https://nypost.com/2024/12/05/us-ne...coming-trump-border-czar-tom-homan-next-week/

    excerpt:

Mayor Eric Adams is set to meet with President-elect Donald Trump’s “border czar” Tom Homan next week — as the city scrambles to prepare for a massive shift in immigration policy with the incoming White House administration.

“I am looking forward to sitting down and speaking with the border czar next week,” Adams said on MSNBC Thursday morning.

“I want to hear the actual plan and how are we going to operationalize the plan,” Adams said, adding he has “not been silent” on his feelings regarding migrants who commit “violent crimes” in the Big Apple.

“I would like to hear the border czar’s plan on addressing that,” the mayor told MSNBC.

5% of Syrians already live in Germany, most of them getting funded by the 15% of Germans who are net taxpayers.

Leftists will find reasons to grow the percentage of Syrians living in Germany to 10% asap.

That Trump has said he will remove birthright citizenship why even though I was born in this country and my family came here legally I opposed him on this issue.

Contrary to what many claim this is more proof it’s not just about “illegal immigration” but about immigration in general.

As I understand it, the idea is to remove birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants only.

It has gotten pretty bad in Germany.

I was there a few weeks ago and the tension was palpable.

Muslim refugees stuck out like a thumb, they were typically in groups and there was clear distrust.

I would not want to be a Muslim in Germany and I don't think I would be happy with the extremism being echoed by some Muslims in Germany.

    Okay? Why does that matter?

To be clear - I am not defending Islam in Germany. I can see why there are problems........ I saw very clear hostility towards Muslims, but also by Muslims in Germany.

What I do not understand - and you would know better than I - why hasn't Germany expelled the Muslim refugees on passports in Germany, when it is clear that the hostility.
