I get annoyed every time they say “slow up” . Someone please tell them that you slow down and speed up .

 

I got curious after reading your post. They both mean the same thing but apparently the British use slow up more than Americans do. Our language exchange with the advent of television, written word and internet has gotten very fluid.

I would let this hill go. Not worth dying on but very interesting read. Thanks for pointing this out. I’m a fan of English.

Ackerman and Bull were my fave commentating combo... Still can't believe they canned Bull, he was fantastic. And we got Hollins in his stead... He doesn't even have any Rockets creds, like wtf.

 

I’ve always wondered that too but at some point in the last few games he mentioned he thinks it’s really pretty in the fall there. I guess he legit likes the place….i kind of feel like he needs to get out more.

 

Hollins is unbearable, trash career and trash commentator. Ackerman need to chill and stop trying to be cool.

 

I wish our color guy had some connection to the team or city. Its weird pretty much every color guy we have had either played with the Rockets or was from Houston until Hollins.

I love Hollins. Dude has earned his spot here announcing for our rebuild years. He brought energy and life to a depressed fanbase. The criticisms are weak.

But anyway, how does CF keep hijacking nice things and rolling them in ****? We’re winning, we’re entertaining, and we’re throwing fits online. Do yall need me to rub your back while you drink your milk? Change your diapers? Did you spit the bit?

 

I agree with your second paragraph, but nah, fack Hollins. I mean I'm sure he's a lovely person, but git off mah Rockets broadcast.
