Even for the rightwing heroes who beat the rap (or the ones who got convicted by supposedly prejudiced juries), it wasn't because of jury nullification -- it's generally about how laws are written and how they are applied in jury instructions. I don't think our justice system nowadays has a big problem with juries going rogue to see their own justice done. Worst case, his first jury gets hung and he has to get a second trial.
I don’t think the national temperature is yet at a place where this guy gets jury nullification. Maybe for someone doing a similar act in the future though.

Radical left wing violence is a big concern -- and this incident further proves it. Based on reactions from the sympathizers on Reddit and apparently here, we need to protect our business executives from executions. This incident has really exposed some extremists, who believe murder is justified for a man simply doing his job in the insurance field.
Looking at some of the posts here justifying or celebrating this murder, one needs to be concerned about some of the leftist lunatics here wanting to take action, too.
Simply doing his job of denying as many claims as possible, killing/financially ruining as many lives as possible- all in the name of increased profits. Keep playing victim lol.
