Rox have shown massive improvement. Last season they started out with 3 straight losses now they havent had 3 lose streak.

Amen is a burgeoning superstar in the making.

Sheppard with an 0-fer in 10 mins. Anybody who says they are happy where he is right now is a certified clown. Dude got cooked on both ends he needs a lot of work and a lot of GLeague time.

Tate and Holiday played great, Adams was ok.

Rox have a lot of depth Ime just needs to use them.

 

He is the professor at the community college that could have been so much more

 

What is Sheppard doing on the Spurs that he isnt doing on the Rockets? His 3s that he is blanking he is wide open..

 

Jalen + Amen is a crazy backcourt.

6 in double figures, 7 had an assist, solid range shooting, crushed the boards. They're used to Fred not committing turnovers but clearly ball movement opens up the game for everyone sooooo I can live with 15 TOs, shots falling and a W.

 

Cam and Reed need to switch places at this point. Let Reed get the G-League run for his confidence. We need the offense from Cam.

A good win without FVV and Tari. Hope they will be back soon.

The Clippers did miss Harden though.

 

naw those TO's are crazy. those TO's are the reason this thing was even close. clippers had a ridiculous number of points off TO's.

 

Reed Sheppard giving off Jimmer Freddette vibes to start the season

 

After ESPN invited Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun. Jalen Green finally getting calls on getting really hacked on drives.

 

He is only 21 big men take longer to develop.

 

I think both of them should be in the G- League. Cam is playing quite well there, but can he play with discipline under Udoka?

Sadly I compared Reed to Jimmer.

My main issue with Ime is why isn't Reed playing at PG and why is Alperen Sengun not setting Good Picks instead offensive Fouls.

Putting Reed at SG does absolutely nothing. Reed is a PG that can pass and shoot. He needs the ball to create the offense. Ime is so slow in recognizing players strengths and weaknesses.

 

Not preferable for sure, but I hold hope that the more we operate without Fred as a training wheel the tighter they'll become. If it's the difference in our offense being respectable I'll accept a few more TOs. Rockets are gonna smoke a lot of teams scoring 117 in regulation.

Reed passes and shoots within the offense though so I don’t hate his mins

his defense is starting to kinda suck though if he’s not getting any hands on the ball

 

Our squad is obviously better with Fred, but I think while he's out, playing with good pace and through Alpi in halfcourt sets seems like it'd be a pretty good (on paper). Both Amen and Jalen are actually better at getting the ball up the floor in transition than FVV is....Because he's one of the worst I've seen at doing so.

It's like we have all these wild horses but something is always reigning them back. At least for a little while we can see our young guys really run (and turn it over)
