Or the Rockets will be better when they open the offense up for Jalen

Nice strawman. All it takes is one look at the Sengun thread to show this is blatantly false. Take off those rosy Jalen fanboy glasses and see him for what he is.

I think Reed is playing really poorly. I'm not happy at all with his production. But he has only been playing for a few months on limited minutes. Jalen has been the same player for three years. (By this logic, Reed can play the exact same for three years but we will still have hope.)

I don't remember Jalen being ridiculed from day one though I didn't like the pick. I gave him a chance and he's not very good. He was given the chance from day one to play over 25 min a night and was definitely coddled. He was allowed to do whatever he wanted on the court. That's coddling. I don't give a sht about his nails.

Jalen's defense is vastly overrated in my opinion. It's a way to justify him being on the floor. He might be an average defender, maybe.

I don't understand what "the spacing of his 3s" means?

Tari is outplaying Jalen by a mile, anyone can see that who is not a JOF. His shooting may not be great but I trust his 3's over Jalen any day of the week. Pretty much everything else about his game is better than Jalen's, save FTs. Jalen can create shots but not make them. I don't care if he can create shots he can't make.

There’s no world in which Green’s other skills will get strong enough to offset his inability to shoot. It doesn’t look like his shooting is ever going to improve appreciably. We’ve got a good sample size now. His raw athleticism has caused people to stubbornly overestimate him.

I think he is at risk of losing his starting spot to Amen if his production is so inconstant.

Agree. Reed has only played 271 minutes. Jalen has over 8,000. Honestly, I'd be shocked if Reed's shooting percentages were as low as Jalen's when he reaches even half that many minutes. I also bet his ASST/TO rate will be much better, as well as steals per game.

Jalen you need at least 7 years to make a judgement. Reed you can judge in 1/3 of a season apparently

As long as he continues to take his guide hand off the ball when he shoots, he's going continue to suck.

Jalen has not been the same player for 3 yrs. When he came in the league he was a bad defender one of the worst in the league. He was also one note Jalen wasnt doing these pull ups and step backs his rookie year. The problem is his efficiency, he just hasnt been a good shooter the past 3 yrs. Spacing of his 3 means that, Jalen takes a lot of 3s that helps the team whether he makes or misses because Rox are one of the top rebounding teams in the league.

Sure Sheppard has only played 1/4 of a season but he has played worse than Green ever has. His ceiling is also lower than Green because Green is an athletic beast and Sheppard is a 6'1.75 undersized SG with trex arms. Green has never had 2 months of 0-6 ppg like Sheppard has either. Sheppard is the one that is the most coddled, because we are winning people arent criticizing him like they did to Jalen and Jabari.

Jalen is number 20 in ESPN's top 25 under 25. You think he sucks but the general NBA population dont agree with you. Personally I think the upside is there and as he ages he will be more and more consistent similar to Wiggins.

Yet another perfect game by our numero uno. Looks like he took that leap we have been waiting for. Great business by Stone.

Guess u weren't here during Jalen green 1st season before typing this nonsense. Brewer 2.0, not alpha enough, etc etc etc

Reed should get the benefit of the doubt since his mins are lower but his stats and his nonexistent production warrants it. Smith and Green were getting btch at daily for not putting up the points.

For a guy folks hyped up, man should b able to do something
