Most classified docs don't get charged criminally bcz the suspect usually turns in the documents after being asked by the government. This is what happened with Jimmy Carter and Mike Pence which @Kim magically forgets about. Donald Trump signed an affidavit claiming he didn't have any classified documents after the government asked him for the documents back. If trump had just given the documents back when asked back in summer of 2022 he wouldn't never have been charged. Its genuinely hilarious just how brainwashed the majority of Americans are.

Hurr repeatedly said bidens situation was different because biden did not lie on a affidavit claiming he didn't have the documents after the doj requested for them. He turned over the documents when he found out he had them in possession. Mike Pence and Jimmy Carter both found classified docs at the same time as biden. The difference between Trump vs Biden/Carter/Pence is none of the three lied on a affidavit after being asked by the doj for the documents. False. Hurr did not conclude in his report that Biden had the intention of retaining the documents. If you read page 186-190 of the report he admits that it's impossible to know bidens intention of why he had the documents. He never concluded that Biden knowingly kept the documents. The only person who he blames directly is the ghost writer for Biden book. Trumps documents case were different cuz trump lied on a affidavit which made the intent argument easier.
