On the post yes, not by blocking shots though, but by being almost unmovable and having great IQ and quick hands. Davis is still charming soft when it comes to physicality.

a lot of the value comes from team success when that player is on the lloor. So AD gets dragged because the rest of the defense is bad while Harden gets lifted. Much like Alp and FVV.

Shai however I do not understand that number on D, I'll have to think about it. It almost has to be some major luck adjustment if I'm remembering correctly how this is derived.

Ooooh yes, I remember what a joy it was to watch the LuisHub executed to perfection.
The whole Rockets team was built on The Big Argentinian...

Alperen Sengun is already top5 center in NBA and is not far from being all time hall of fame when he retires.

What are these imbeciles saying here?
He is on the MVP candidate list..
He already is on the way of becoming Rockets franchises best center after Olajuwon..(He broke every record at 22 years old).
This is Sengun's team, Rockets is Sengun team.
It does not matter if Some Racists here accept this or not.
Take out Sengun and Fred, this team hardly scores more than 50 points a game as a team, as whole.

What are these basketball ignorants talking about?

Anyone. This is a forum, where different ideas are appreciated. No need to address people as imbeciles when they don’t hold the same opinion as you.

Y cuz you watch the media spit false narratives about Harden for years when he was never a bad defender? It's just literally impossible for someone who carries that much offensive load to be engaged on defense for the whole game. So someone created a few videos of him falling asleep. His actually defense was never really bad. In OKC he was routinely guarding the other teams best players because he didn't have as much of an offensive burden. He strong and was always one of the best post defenders and he had some of the quickest hands in the league. You think rockets routinely won 50 plus games with his defense actually being bad?

Anthony Davis is a great weak side shot blocker. Other than that is he really good at defense at all? You see Jokic destroy him every playoff series. Harden has a better chance of stopping Jokic in the post than Davis .

I love harden, what are you talking about. Yes davis is good at defense. Jokic destroys everyone, there is not a single player alive today or in the history of the nba that could guard jokic one on one. Literally zero. If that’s the standard then nobody is a good defender.

Honestly KAT did a really good job of it in the playoffs last year. You need a big body to bang with him. Which is why Harden would actually be successful. I don't think Jokic can be stopped but a good defender shoulda be able to hold him to lower than his averages. And Davis does not.

KAT got slaughtered, and the little bit that “worked” was because he had rudy behind him. Davis has only awful defensive players around him. Jokic was just ice cold from 3 in that series, which is why his numbers weren’t insane, only 29 and 8 assists.

Disagree go back and watch. The reason they won is cuz KAT switched on Jokic. They even won the games Gobert missed so to say Gobert was behind him means nothing. KAT held the most efficient player the league has ever seen to a 43.6% fg percentage. Give him some credit.

Kat had nothing to do with the 19% 3 pt shooting, just a tiny sample size fluke, nothing more. Even jokic will
Have SOME games where the shot isn’t there, it happens.

you don't think banging on a much bigger guy for longer stretches of the game tires him out and effects his shooting? KAT is not a good defender by any means but he did an amazing job last playoffs and was one of the biggest reasons they won. When they traded him I was absolutely dumbfounded. They have no chance of beating Denver again.

I agree trading him was stupid, because i HATE randle and players like him. But no, i don’t think KAT had anything to do with it, even the GOATs have a mediocre game or 2. If you replay that series 100 times, Jokic is better in probably 98 of them, it just happens

If he wants to compete and be a force to reckon with in NBA, he needs to learn how to do that…banging with bigger guys, stopping them on defense and score on their heads

Sengun is already a force to reckon with even if he does not bang bigger guys....
