Who is the Greatest Republican President? I was talking to a friend and we were discussing this question. I was of the mind that if I asked modern Republicans They would say REAGAN And TRUMP I'm sure the Democrats will say Lincoln . . hell I'd say Lincoln . .. . So I thought I would ask here . .. . particularly among our Republican friends. Rocket River
Kim wins. He covered both sides with one president. You should be on the Doge team bro. 50 percent reduction in 30 seconds.
Trump Over the course of years, he took on the corrupt establishment state, absorbed every attack they launched against him, overcame it all, won the support of the people, and won reelection. He fought against a decade worth of relentless attacks on his reputation. He fought against 2 impeachment attempts on false grounds. He fought against voter fraud that falsely gave the 2020 election to Biden. He fought against hundreds of subpoenas against him and his family. He sat through sham trials in front of partisan judges and juries. He fought against the state taking his money. He fought against potential life imprisonment. He survived two assassination attempts, and took a bullet for our country. He. Just. Kept. Fighting. By the time he's done with the next four years, our country will be back on the right track. If he performs to my expectations over the next four years, then he deserves a place on Mount Rushmore. For his accomplishments, and for his persistence in the face of a decade worth of attacks from all corners of the political-government-media apparatus. He is the most important person on earth in our lifetimes. GOOD DAY
everything you say is true, but I would not call his first presidency a success; his second may yet be. and inasmuch as the whole point of Biden's presidency was to be "not Trump" we can safely say 46 has been an abject failure. maybe the worst in history, although that's a very high bar. I will say that Trump's reelection is perhaps the most remarkable political comeback in American history. maybe there's another one (Nixon in '68?) but I can't think of one atm.
I think a really good question, and it’s one often asked and pondered, is how much longer slavery would’ve carried on had the North not invaded the south. Or if the south had somehow won. wrong thread though.
fair, but Cleveland was not impeached, much less twice, in his first term, nor did he have the array of political, media, and institutional forces against him that Trump has had to face. mind, I'm not suggesting Trump was/will be a better president than Cleveland, but his comeback is, imo, the more remarkable.
He did alot for himself I can agree with that I see very little in you post about what he did for THE PEOPLE Rocket River Alot of that is IMO Media BS - he has the media in his pocket as well. but overall alot of mass distraction
Some of Trump's many accomplishments in his first term are below. I expect even greater things in his 2nd term. Cut taxes, no new wars, cut regulations, enforced border security, low inflation, low energy costs, great stock market run, great record for employment -- including the lowest unemployment for blacks in history ...and he added 3 Justices to the Supreme Court to help safeguard our freedoms.
