Donald Trump is a crook, and the majority of people know he is a crook - some care, some do not. At the end of the day it would be dumb for Biden to pardon them. Biden shouldn't have even pardoned his idiot son - but that has already happened.
Not arguing whether it is good or bad or better strategy to conduct politics and campaigning in dirty and low road style. Simply that sticking to principles in the face of dirty underhanded tactics by the opposition is the opposite of spineless.

Trump pardoned how many criminals and nobody cared…but then Biden pardons his son and all of the sudden the media is an uproar and people are mad Why should Biden throw his son to the wolves while Trump can do whatever he wants? Trump wants to pardon all the mindless drones who did Jan 6th. Idk why Dems have to continue playing by different rules
I don’t really care about Hunters pardon. Biden lying for political gain during the election and all the leftists media members falling over themselves to praise him for promising to refuse to pardon Hunter is the more problematic component. If the pardon wasn’t off the table and he knew Trump might win, he should have been honest and said it was something he hadn’t ruled out. But he didn’t and embraced the applause for it.
I guess we just see it differently. That seems like a separate issue than being weak and spineless. Like I said, refusing to lower your standards and to stay the course in which you believe, even if you know you will get beat is pretty gutsy and shows strength. It may not be a winning strategy, but I just think weak and spineless are the wrong adjectives to describe it.
Democrats have won elections without resorting to underhanded tactics. Obama won multiple elections. Biden won in 2020 and Democrats won several races in 2018 and 2024. Even in this last election Democrats win very close races in Az, WI, and MI. There are no easy answers but it does seem like Democrats can win when either the Republicans really screw things up to the point it is so obvious or have a very charismatic candidate like Obama and Bill Clinton.
