No star guard athlete can successfully play next to a traditional center that only posts up. The Rockets need a center that can space the floor
Unless we’re getting a top 5, maybe 10 player back then moving Sengün is a terrible idea. He’s the best player on our team by a good margin. Green on the other hand, I’d move in a heartbeat.
I would like to see a swap of Sengün, Green, FVV for Fox and Sabonis with Keegan Murray. It was a fantasy swap. It will never happen bc Sactown is where Fox started his career, I guess he would want the franchise to get a massive haul of 1st round picks.
...in order to upgrade though - it is going to cost more than just Green and guys like Tate/Landale/Adams. The problem is what else are you willing to give up to upgrade this team in a significant way? Sengün may be the best player on the team but that's a team that lacks a foundational star so how much of our good but not great players and roster depth are we willing to sacrifice to make an upgrade.
I’d give up Eason towards a Fox trade. It’d hurt, but I’d do it. Sengun and Amen are untouchable in my eyes. I want to find a third to complement those two.
We lose a couple of games and some of y'all want to trade Sengun, lol. Perhaps you should consider following another sport -- basketball may be too emotionally unstable for you.
Are there any examples of a star guard who was good with a postup center? Magic, kobe were alright i guess.
I'd be fine with Fox but outside of FVV OR Jalen (NOT AND) combined with a Future 1st or 2 I'm not making that deal. His talent is not that much higher than either of those guys. He's just more mature than Jalen and younger and more athletic than FVV. Besides, Sac would have to be imploding with 0 chance of resigning him or he would have to demand a trade to Houston and threaten to walk and give them nothing in order for him to end up here this year. Not likely.
This would never happen because Fox is the only reason the Kings franchise is relevant and, by himself, he's worth more than Alpi/Jalen/FVV together.
Of course but the Kings are a 1st round exit at best......it is tough in the West. Other impatient teams have made those moves with a star player that procrastinated the extension....... I do believe his fiancee or wife (a former bball player) loves it in Sactown.
You sleeping on Fox. He is way more talented than FVV and Jalen. Now in terms of what we would have to give up, I don’t believe it would take as much as some may think…definitely not what it would take to get a Giannis. We could still keep a great team around him and even make other moves to balance out the roster.
Fox’s talent level not being that much higher than either FVV or Green is an insane statement the government gotta be putting something in the water because ain’t no way people are saying stuff like that with a clear and sound mind
