I think this speaks to the bubble that you live in. It's ok to condemn the insurance industry and also not to want killers roaming the street. "He had it coming" is not a legal defense, even if true.
here's a name Taylor Lorenz defends United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s murder in sickening post: ‘People wonder why we want these executives dead’ https://nypost.com/2024/12/05/us-ne...-unitedhealthcare-ceo-brian-thompsons-murder/
I've also got absolutely ZERO interest in going back and re-reading this thread to dig out the culprits. If that seems lazy, well then, I'm lazy.
Ok, it’d just be a lot more interesting if you could specify something and where you disagree. I know it’s not your job to entertain on here or anything, I’ve just come to expect so much from ya bud.
I've got no interest in a pissing match with folks I don't enjoy interacting with. You on the other hand . . . I'll respond any time.
apparently the "usual lefty suspects" here are not unique in their hatred and vitriol. Torrent of Hate for Health Insurance Industry Follows C.E.O.’s Killing The shooting death of a UnitedHealthcare executive in Manhattan has unleashed Americans’ frustrations with an industry that often denies coverage and reimbursement for medical claims. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/05/nyregion/social-media-insurance-industry-brian-thompson.html
funny you should mention that. "Related." we are building a dog kennel and I'm trying to decide which guillotine doors to buy . . . for ten indoor-outdoor runs. They're expensive.
I’ve only read pages 7 and 8 of this thread so Idk about anything that’s been said on here before that, but the comments on Reddit are honestly kind of appalling When did we get to the point where we’re straight up celebrating and high-fiving a murder in broad daylight like this? Ok, he’s some “big bad CEO” or whatever, but where do y’all draw the line? Since when is murder the solution?
Yeah I’m not asking Os to argue Reddit comments or what Torey Lanez said on the torrents or anything. I read through this thread, through chowds posts for example, I would find a rebuttal interesting. We don’t have to always poo fling
Yea, lol good luck getting anything besides "blah blah lefty's" even though this is probably as close to bipartisan hate you could get with any subject matter here.
If you think that all the people that are at best ambivalent on this story are "crazy leftists", you would be mistaken. 100% of claims should be approved? I believe that he oversaw a company with the WORST approval percentage in the industry, that used a bot to reject claims that should have been approved at near 90%.... the police have an ethical obligation to find the culprit and prosecute him, but there are a LOT of Americans that really have no sympathy for the man.
Yup - that is what she said, should make you really think. I assure you she is very sane and very smart and wise.... she survived what very few people have.
One thing I’ve noticed is most people criticizing others for "celebrating the death" of this CEO are ignoring the widespread fraud in the industry. They focus mostly on condemning those who are celebrating, which I havent seen here. At this point, we need to move past that and focus on the bigger picture.
