    Lol

She’s a nicer, granola-hippie Karen but loud and pushy all the same.

    I agree.

But at the same time, no one interacts or has any manners these days. Strangers don't even smile back or acknowledge me the majority of the time I make an effort. They just keep right on doing their thing regardless. I'm luck to get a, "Do you want paper or plastic?" these days at the store.

There's something to be said for country hospitality/friendliness.

I still remember, and it's what always sets me off on a rant about phones, was 20 years ago in a pool hall (@Rocketman95 was there) and this dude is walking around the table talking and for a minute I thought he was talking to me, so now we're having a conversation. Took me another minute to figure out he was talking to the earphone and ignoring me. I'm not a violent person, but I wanted to snap a pool cue over that guy's head in that moment.

I've been in a few situations like that, albeit briefly. Got the 'how dare you interrupt me' look and brush off each time.

Black Friday used to be a day when you could buy things at great prices.

Now it's "buy it on Black Friday at the regular price because prices are about to get jacked up"

Ya gotta do your Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving now, or you'll be paying higher prices.

Black Friday is no longer the day to get great deals. It's the last day of the season before prices get jacked up.

I made the mistake of going to Best Buy on Friday (Louetta by Willowbrook), first time to ever "shop" on Black Friday...................it was CRAZY, there were like 100 people in line at 2pm and a cop in front directing traffic, it actually went fast and there were some crazy good deals, but only on **** I didn't want or need. I am sure the prices have been jacked up now, I also looked at a stove at Lowe`s that I should have bought, took a pic of the price so I cant wait to see what it is now, should have bought it then

There's a browser plugin called Keepa which will show you the price history on Amazon items. You can see prices increase immediately after Black Friday.

If you don't want to get ripped off, you have to do your Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving nowadays.

My big peeve about Amazon and Macys is.....
My wife and I share a prime account of course, and same with Macys AMEX.

I cannot buy anything from either site without my wife knowing about it. Between the confirmation notices, delivery notifications.
So, by default, I had to get my lazy arse out of the house and shop in person like a neanderthal.
Oh the sacrifice we men make

??? We have one prime account with multiple users. I can log in an buy stuff without my wife knowing, and vice versa.

My problem is she signs in under my account, she never designated one on her own. She has no credentials other than mine..
All good though I found her some wonderful Irish sweaters and jewelry at this joint, if any of y'all Irish folks want to see some fine craic.

    AH! It's a domestic problem!
Try this: let her have that login and create a separate user login for yourself on the same Prime account (and don't tell her the pw).

Or I could come here and b**** about it and do nothing.
Since I'm already logged in here, I'm going with that option.

    I cry too you know.

when my dumbass goes to the grocery store without making a list thinking I’ll remember everything and it’s no big deal just to spend an hour there, drive back home, and realize I forgot to get the main thing I was going there for in the 1st place

Since when did the slow right lane become the fast lane. I can't drive comfortable on these streets anymore

I have to say I'm a bit less annoyed after passing a vehicle on I-45 with "OVERSIZED LOAD" instead of "OVERSIZE LOAD" on it. I wanted to shake that guy's hand, but feared that would cause a wreck as both vehicles were moving. I didn't want to end up being another Hans Moleman.

That’s a combination of …older/foreigners (typically inconsiderate and/or ignorant to the basic etiquette of driving) casually coasting 2 mph under the speed limit, creating traffic, and raging/impatient drivers weaving in and out of lanes to get around them.
