Climate change is one of those things that doesn’t care about who you voted for. Red states like FL are already bearing the biggest burden of a changing climate.

The three toxic/harmful gases that come out of a car exhaust pipe are carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, and nitrogen monoxide.

In contrast, CO2 is a colorless, odorless gas that is ESSENTIAL TO LIFE and is a building block for plant growth.

I erroneously thought you were smarter than this. People are so confused on climate change -- your response is a perfect illustration. They think they are smart, but they botch grade school-level science principles (and fall for the government's deceptions).

    GOOD DAY

And yet 20% of Floridians are old people who mostly vote for Trump. What do they care if Florida is going the way of Aintree, Georgia ("Deliverance", as in, "Everything you see, all this, is gonna be underwater"). They'll all be long gone before the only inhabitants of Miami and Tampa are the fish.

It was almost 20 years ago when Al Gore claimed that the global sea level would rise 20 feet and Miami would be underwater. Miami is not underwater and its population has increased around 25% since Gore's doomsday predictions. Gore also said the entire north polar ice cap would be gone by 2016 -- obviously it is not gone.

With Gore's atrocious track record, how can people still believe in this doomsday fantasy? It's science alright. Political Science. Which is why it was rolled out by a political figure -- Al Gore -- not a scientist.

The government is trying to put another huge tax on industrial production and human activity. Personal income taxes and corporate taxes are not enough to fund the size of governments in Europe and North America. And this is the proponents of big government's way of giving themselves another huge opportunity for increased tax receipts. It is all a deception.

    GOOD DAY

That’s great news for those recovering from Hurricane Milton and Harvey.

Ok then get a CO2 tank and start breathing from that. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Also thank you for acknowledging that burning fossil fuels in internal combustion engines releases other toxic gases.

Saying "Climate change is a hoax" is their stance, because it's what guys like Trump say. Meanwhile, climate change carries on.

The 20-year average of the number of annual Category 4 and 5 hurricanes in the Atlantic region has approximately doubled since the year 2000.

A Category 5 storm causes more than 400 times the damage of a minimal Category 1 hurricane, more than 140 times the damage of a minimal Category 3 hurricane and more than five times the damage of a minimal Category 4 storm.

    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/scienc...-change-is-increasing-the-power-of-hurriances

Global CO₂ emissions from forest fires have increased by 60% since 2001, study finds

It is one of the first studies to look globally at the differences between forest and non-forest fires, and shows that in one of the largest pyromes, which spans boreal forests in Eurasia and North America, emissions from fires nearly tripled between 2001 and 2023.

    https://phys.org/news/2024-10-global-emissions-forest.html

The rate of dryland flash flooding around the world was 20 times higher between 2000 and 2022 than it was between 1900 and 1999.

    https://www.businessinsider.com/fla...earchers found that,was between 1900 and 1999

The impact of global warming is seen particularly in the western United States where record-setting wildfires have occurred in recent years. 14 of the 20 largest wildfires on record have been in California over the past 15 years.

Since 2000, an annual average of 70,025 wildfires have burned an annual average of 7.0 million acres, more than double the average burned in the 1990s.8 The shift in conditions is attributed to drier fire fuel, largely influenced by climate change. Average annual global temperatures have increased steadily since the 1960s, with 10 of the warmest years on record all occurring in the past decade. Furthermore, each month of 2023 fell within the top 7 warmest temperatures on record with June through December in 2023 being the hottest on record.

Predicting the future is hard. And I think many people have embarrassed the climate advocates with their overconfidence. But, in recent history, I've weathered through Hurricane Harvey, Winter Storm Uri, record-setting summer heat. Today enjoying an uncharacteristically warm fall. We're seeing climate change in the present and I don't really like it. I don't know why people are still wasting their breath denying it.

The temperature of the Gulf and the Tropics broke records. It's not a crazy prediction to predict a higher than normal Hurricane season. Warmer waters equals more Hurricanes. I don't know why you guys don't understand science, but this isn't the gotcha ignorant people think it is.

For the sake of the millions of people who live along the coast, it is great that they got lucky this year with conditions breaking right for them under a time of significant risk.

It's like saying that because you got home safe after driving drunk that there's no need for you to get an Uber next time. Having this kind of take is beyond ignorant. ALL of the data shows that you will eventually be wrong... and I would be willing to bet that the victims of Milton probably would have some choice words for your flex here.

97% of Trump supporters believe whatever BS Trump feeds them. The other 3% are just billionaires paying Trump to make their lives richer.

You can believe the climate isn't changing all you want, but the facts don't lie.
