sucks to lose but silver lining is this was a game that the Rockets would lose by 40 last year. they didnt play with energy, the Kings were making everything (some open but most contested), a ton of missed shots at the rim, and the refs did not help at all. I hope they remember this one and really give the Kings a true showing next time. I have so much more to say, but going to let this one go. cant win them all - especially 5 vs 17,000
Warriors up next…they’re collapsing right now so we’re catching them at a good time another 9 PM start time unfortunately
Also, this probably wouldn't have changed the results of the game, but Tari has GOT to finish some of those bunnies. If nothing else, just try to dunk it
Well, we are making the Playoffs and the Playoffs will be all about those ref games....... Better get used to it. I have always wanted Artificial Intelligence Referees, for what is worth.
Quite a few HUGE calls i can recall off memory that really controlled momentum of the game. The 3 jalen made, was taken away and sac was awarded an extra tech free throw. 4pt swing. The out of bounds on jabari that stood. The failure to review for a flagrant on green getting hit in the face. Taking away the made 3 from geeen because the contact was insignificant. That is ignoring the biased whistle and only what i remember.
I don't understand why they didn't review the play where Jalen got smashed in the face by Crowder. Refs noticed a cut on his face, but they couldn't put two and two together that 'oh he got smashed in the face that's why he has a cut on his face'. I thought Brooks charge was dodgy should of been a no call. Sengun got smashed by two guys then at the other end Sabonis gets the call. Rockets tried to make a run in the 4th but kept getting pushed back by the refs. Nothing much you can do about that.
He was aggressive, but when everything you do is a foul and other team can come over your back on rebounds … it’s only so much you can do
Hope Ime goes off in the post game presser. I thought the line moving around before the game was curious as hell and now I find it even more curious as hell.
He tried to dunk it after the missed free throw in the first half and the ball slipped out of his hand. Amen and tari could not get a handle on the ball tonight.
We deserved to lose with how we played...but, these refs absolutely had an agenda from the first whistle. I don't think we were going to win tonight absent a Rockets blowout which the refs weren't going to allow to start with. There was absolutely an agenda against the Rockets winning. I don't know why but it was definitely there.
