Udoka has created a culture where everyone buys in…where a guy like Brooks liberally uses his “sometimes you..sometimes me…always us” phrase. That’s not easy for a lot of coaches to do at the high school level even…it’s WAY WAY WAY harder amongst adults who have been told their God’s greatest gift to the game since they were about 12 and are now adults who are paid more than you are.

Ime’s impact on this franchise cannot be overstated. It’s a remarkable turnaround for a franchise that doesn’t have an alpha yet.

Preach. Udoka doesn’t care how much money you make, dude will bench anyone who isn’t giving maximum effort.

The Rockets future might become brighter even sooner than we all anticipated.

    Exciting times.

At this point in the evolution of the team, Jalen's position is the most obvious one that needs to be upgraded.

Jalen represents a dynamic, multifaceted perimeter scorer, which is exactly what the Rockets need. The problem is he does not deliver the goods at a high enough level. His inefficiency and inconsistency put a ceiling on this team. He shouldn't be at career-lows in efficiency and AST/TO ratio in his 4th season while getting only 4 FTs per game.

This is why he will probably be on the trading block for an upgrade. It's pretty obvious if you think about it.

That said, if over the next 40-50 games Jalen goes 45/40/85 (or better), draws more fouls and becomes a solid closer, Rockets should probably keep him.

very reasonable…his position is the first you’d upgrade if you could

Yes and I asked you to describe in as much detail as possible how the team wasn't currently blown up. We're all caught up bud. You didn't do it, no worries. I release you from the obligation of explaining your wet-blanket ass bullshit. Call me whatever while you can't even follow 2 replies in a row. Make it personal because you can't make it about basketball.

I did explain in detail you didn’t refute except with that weird wet-blanket analogy. The Rockets are currently 18th in offensive rating and Sengun had like 8 points at halftime vs hartenstein who is obviously overpaid. You mentioned Jalen green had 41 but the game before and after that the dude had 9 points and he is shooting sub 32% from three.

also I didn’t make it personal you just don’t have reading comprehension abilities it seems. It clearly is about basketball and how this team isn’t constructed for a championship yet. I pointed out ways we could improve while you say stuff I can barely understand lol.

On pace for 58 wins with an SRS of 8.70, the 2017-18 team had an SRS of 8.21.

I doubt either of these hold, but I doubt anyone here wouldn't be ecstatic with 50 wins, let alone 55+.

Perhaps, but Jalen seems to be buying into the Rockets and Ime's system right now. With another team I could see him being the guy scoring 25+ a game, but he's trying to find himself in this offense by sharing the ball (which will only make him a more complete player as time passes).

I think he has that drive to be the guy, but is willing to learn how to win. It's hard to find that in some players who are all about themselves at the team's cost (or even want to win but only if it makes them look good)

On the offensive end, Jalen has clearly taken a step backwards. If he doesn't make a hard turn for the better over a prolonged period this season, he should be part of a trade package next summer so the Rockets can level-up at SG.

This is his 2nd year in this offense and it often looks like he's on a completely different page from everyone else. There is no excuse for that.

If Jalen goes to another team and scores 25+ per game shooting 39/32, you can bet it's a bottom-feeder.

We have 2 of the league leaders in steals this season. Tari is 3rd and Fred is 11th. Love it!

Yes ....still too much smooth sailing, we saw with the Thunder that they win with 4-5 injuries to their roster and drafting a Season injury of Topic.

Charlotte is on the rise though, when healthy they are a Play In contender.

Mainly due to Brandon Miller being better than advertised and guys like Tre Mann hitting.

    • I am curious about Tidjane Salaun as well.

    • They have guards like Lamelo, forward like Miller, then they got Mark Williams and Diabate......

    • On paper they look stacked as a non contender.

Hartenstein has been a good baller for years now. What a horrendous basketball take.

Sengun is not a robot, he's barely a veteran. Was getting hacked to bits and still almost got a triple double but that's not good enough for you huh? Horrendously poor basketball take.

Jalen Green, 9+41+9 = 59/3 anyone want to guess? That's right, his season average. I'm suuuuure a fan of your caliber already knew that. I have bad(?) news for you, Jalen Green is scoring enough for this team to be 15-6. Would add that I think his scoring is exactly the reason we won a few of those games too.

I know you're having trouble following multiple replies in a row there big chief, you said this team would be blowing up if, if, if. Someone had to be the last horse to cross the finish line I guess. *They are blowing up.*

Saying you can't follow isn't a flex. You don't need a sports team, you need a punching bag. Everlast Nevatear 70lb Heavy Bag Kit | Academy Next time we want to celebrate a big win leave your horrendous basketball takes out of our party. If it upsets you this much that we're 15-6 take it out on that punching bag. Other option is keep trying to tear down a fun team and get called a wet blanket.

I really do not think it is that clear.....I suspect he has problems against half of the league and teams that used to double team him....and pressure him.

I saw him struggle a ton under Silas as well despite the heightened scoring outputs.

Agree except Sengun is our Alpha already. We've won multiple games with him closing it out.
