    unlike Vancouver/Toronto, if you move 30 minutes away things becomes noticably more affordable in the US , Stockton in CA or Renton in WA might be cheaper/equal than Houston, West Coast is addictive even in Oregon

    Based on rough cost estimates
    A studio in Alto Palo = modest House in Fremont = Nice House in Stacy =mini acrege in Stockton with private bodyguards expense inclusive .

    I 've lived at one point near Sharpstown mall and 've died only once but I agree with you, safety is heavily reliant on street/neighborhoods locations is concerning
