The “give me Harden over FVV” takes are embarrassing

When James got going for 43 and 7 vs the Wizards, I admit I had a nostalgic feeling.


The Rockets need to win with our core. I don't want him back in Houston.

 

Harden is a smart player, he would have done wonders with this squad compared to FVV.
Look how he adjusts his role post Houston and what he’s doing with the Clippers.

Imagine Harden with Tari and Amen cuts, sengun PnR, Jabari in the corner, and Harden woulda elevated Green a lot more..

 

Imagine our team with Giannis, Jokic, Luka, Tatum and SGA. Pretty sure these guys would elevate everyone even more.

If you wanna dream nonsensical stuff why stop at 2024 Harden? Dream about better players.

 

Harden never won in Houston though.

The difference is Harden was an option.

 

We would have been a far better offensive team but then we would have to get better defensively.

I'd rather have it this way around where the foundation is defense.

 

I just don’t think Harden and Udoka would be compatible, but maybe I’m wrong. Harden needs to have the team built around his game. Udoka needs to be frmly in control and to have everyone buy into the defense-first team concept. It’s easy to see Harden’s talents making everyone better, but we might not be seeing the same overall success we are now.

 

Oddly the Clippers are 6th in defense and 22nd in offense this season. The opposite of what you would expect from a team led by an old James Harden.

 

How is this trash calculated? In what world is shai even close to jokic, let alone ahead of him? Cause it certainly isn’t this one. Just idiotic

 

Funny a lot of so called stats have him near the top in limited 20 games.....it does not mean much because you stil have 62 games to play but it is a start.....

Also Joker was absent for 2-3 games for the birth of his kid and then he had a rough stretch at the beginning.

Also yeah, Dub is much better than 2nd option Jamal and they are a terrific/terroristic duo.

Shai has a lot of potential on Defense, as he starts blocking shots......and is quicker than Jokic.

Vision also getting better.

 

He did not have a rough stretch. He is MILES better than sga. If the stat has sga above him, it’s a trash stat and should be ignored, period.

 

Great, miles better but just pedestrian season record I guess.


People overlook SGA because he does not look overly athletic, does not dunk that much, does not explode to the basket...

When was the last time the Nuggets had a Top 3 Defense with Joker....right ....not every year or not very often.

He isn't dominating on Defense......Defense is the very essence of making the Rockets without a clear superstar a juggernaut.

This era doesn't even have the Jordans, the Kobes, the McGradys even........so yeah, we have to deal with someone named SGA.

You don't even have great offensive athletes at the Forward/Wing spots.

So nope, Jokic game impresses me but he wouldn't last against the Dream or Shaq, he would be made into a jumpshooter and a passer and Jamal Murray isn't going to win anything.
