Drill baby drill will be a good start to curbing inflation. I'm looking forward to seeing the death of the green new deal scam. It was just another way for globalists to transfer Americans wealth.

As a leftist, why are you doing such a bad parody of the right? It isn't believable. I'm a leftist like you but if I'm going to parody the right I'll be more coy about it.

Yep, I'm for securing the border even if it means having to pay more. Which it won't.

    I'm far from a leftist.

I believe in personable responsibility first and foremost. I'm assuming you're an African American male? I find great comfort that African American males are a big reason Trump won. Liberal African American males like yourself are becoming a thing of the past

But you are parodying a right wing person right? So you aren't leftist by like a moderate liberal?

You definitely aren't right wing unless you really have such a low opinion of yourself to express right wing opinions in such a short bus r****d manner.

Why are ypu so angry all of the time? You lump anyone who doesn't agree with you into your personal bubble. I don't think you're a bad person but just have issues

I'd say that opinion is pretty spot on.

In a second term, Trump won’t just be doling out favors; he’ll also deliver punishments.

We’ve seen before how personal Trump’s view of the economy is: There are good companies and bad companies, within good industries and bad industries, and the determining factor is whether they treat him like the king he imagines himself to be. Firms looking at this history might reasonably decide that making good products isn’t enough to succeed; they also must win the goodwill of a petty and mercurial president, just as companies do in dictatorships around the world.

And since everyone knows that Trump is not above a personal payoff, they might feel it wise to put money directly in his pocket. There are multiple ways to do so: They could book rooms at his resorts (as many did in his first term), or boost the price of his stock in the Trump Media & Technology Group with a large purchase of shares, or invest in his sketchy crypto enterprise, or perhaps buy a few thousand Trump Bibles or Trump sneakers or Trump watches. This president makes it easy to grease his palm.

It worked for so many of his MEGA billionaire donors, lawyers, Fox media personalities and bootlickers who got gifted appointments to head his departments.

Trump believes that tariffs can do almost anything — force other countries to their knees, bring prosperity to the nation, even restore your sense of manly virility. Best of all, they can provide an avenue for him to reward those who please him, hurt those who fail to bend the knee, and maybe even use his office to make a few more bucks. As corrupt as Trump’s first term was, it could pale in comparison to the second.

A White collar criminal surrounding himself with other white collar criminals is corrupt to the core, that's for sure. The grift and bribes are going to be huge.

It was mostly liberals who were strongly opposed to globalisation and free trade polices a quarter century plus ago. Neo liberalism became the only shop in town for both parties before Trump

Biden ripped many maga bits in his trade policy. Kept China tariffs. Made America First in many of his infra subsides and tax credits.
If Joe fully believed in neo liberalism, he wouldn't have done either while upping protectionist policies. Instead he would've made an effort to restart TPP that Obama and his economists were peddling.

There will be a price to undo globalisation. Discussion should be whether the intended effects are worth it and how we would know there's progress. Demonizing Trump and writing off all ideas as a disaster gets in the way of any serious discussion and causes quick and lazy deferrals to the experts who pushed for policies that hollowed out America. This is a failure of the media but the extension is upon the audience that doesn't demand a critical discussion over the details.

If everything under Trump is a crazy and disastrous sounding idea, it sets the bar so low that if there is any inkling of progress or success, then that enough is to prove any self proclaimed expert or economist wrong.

This is an excellent treatise explaining you do not know the difference between targeted tariffs and blanket tariffs.

The tariffs are working -- just as I explained. It took about 1 day -- and Trump isn't even President yet! Amazing.

    So. Much. Winning.

Trump says Mexico’s president has ‘agreed to stop’ migrants crossing into US through her country
    https://nypost.com/2024/11/27/us-ne...grants-from-crossing-the-us-border-illegally/
President-elect Donald Trump said Wednesday that he has received assurances from Mexico’s new president that she will “stop migration” though her country and into the US — before she later clarified her stance.

“Just had a wonderful conversation with the new President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“She has agreed to stop Migration through Mexico, and into the United States, effectively closing our Southern Border,” he added.

False -- the number of rigs is down and the drilling is down. We are producing more oil now because of technological advancements made through fracking, horizontal drilling, and enhanced recovery techniques. Thank you to the oil majors for this long term investment in technology. The gains would be even more if Obama and Biden didn't do everything in their power to restrict production.

You are an unserious clown. These methods have been going on for over 20 years. Did the Biden administration have more oil production than the Trump administration, yes or no? Did the Biden administration approve more leases than the Trump administration, yes or no? You also have to drill to frack, dumbass.

yet, you can't even name one.

25 years ago, Bill Clinton was POTUS; didn't he sign the NAFTA agreement?
How The Clinton Administration Adjusted To Globalization

again, cutting n pasting terms about which you don't understand, reminiscent of you previous cut n paste jobs on the Fed's balance sheet
