If he would mix in the random 30 point game it would be useful but he's basically been either "ok" or just pitching absolute stinkers all month.

In particular he's put on 4.5/5 stinkers in a row excl. 1 good half v. Portland

He did but it stinks that the first opportunity to extend he foolishly and unnecessarily gave Jalen a terrible one sided contract that looks bad 19 games into it and might take something like an unprotected first to move this offseason. It’s not franchise crippling but a very bad start to the “we can’t pay all these guys if they hit” problem potentially coming down the road.

He also signed Sengun to an excellent contract that is going to give us a lot of flexibility going forward.

It's not going to take an unprotected first to move Green. Everyone needs to calm down. If he doesn't turn it around (and it's certainly possible he does turn it around), I expect Green will be moved this offseason towards an upgrade. Or perhaps Green thrives in a backup role.

Regardless, Green's contract, as written, simply won't hurt us. I've said this before, but once we extended Sengun, we basically locked ourselves into being an over the cap team, and Green's contract won't inhibit our ability to resign our guys. We'll have plenty of room to do things like extend FVV, extend Bari Tari and Amen, etc.

Will all need to chill! Setback and take a breather....include me! Last night I was ready to call Reed Sheppard a "B"! Not B!$ch but a BUST! The kid is 20yrs old, fresh out of college, playing against grown men who have been in the league for yrs. Do I think he need time in the G-League, yes? But a bust at this point is ridiculous.

Same thing for Jalen! @DaDakota, @AroundTheWorld @Bobbythegreat, we need to realize that Jalen is just 22yrs old! 22yrs old is the equivalent to a junior or senior in college. The trade talk is over the top.

Personally, I think its going to take him another yr or two to become more consistent. He needs to gain more weight, get stronger and he needs another yr just to learn how to play TEAM BASKETBALL. We've seen the flashes, we've seen what he brings, he just need to become more consistent. Comparing him to Ant Man right now is ridiculous! Ant has more size, he's a GROWN MAN

And if you look at, at the beginning of the yr, we were ready to trade Sengun, then it was Jabari and now it's Jalen! Oh and I forgot about firing Ime!

WE ALL NEED TO GIVE THE PROCESS TIME

Zach Lavine is 29 years old injury prone. Zach Lavine has a broken leg, bad knees, bad feet. He misses the whole season because of injuries. Zach Lavine game is Athleticism, he is declining as a Athlete.

Zach Lavine is closer to Retirement.

What are you talking about, nobody wanted to trade Sengun except a couple of JOF/sengun haters. If Reed THREE years from now is awful, you can safely call him a bust, but he’s a rookie. Jalen is in his 4th season, and he has absolutely sucked for all 4 of them.

Clutch and Apache Warrior wanted to trade him and they aren't JOF's or Sengun haters. 'They just don't like his fit in the modern NBA style of play. I don't think they are correct, but it is a legitimate concern.

I am glad they were wrong because the Modern NBA should be more unpredictable.....and not just about jacking up shots.

Passing is the essence of Euroball and what makes it so exciting.

The NBA is always evolving. If the fans start to get bored with all the 4 and 5 out offenses, the NBA will change the rules again to discourage it. In my opinion, showtime basketball like the Magic led Lakers was the most entertaining in the history of the NBA. The Rockets are being built in the same mode, so maybe, they could usher in a new renaissance of exciting basketball, who knows? I know I haven't had as much fun watching Rocket basketball since the Olujawan years and that was because of one man, not a style of play.

My favorite basketball (and I’m probably the only one) is the 74-72 games indy and Detroit used to play lol, the steph type players are a snoozefest to me

He inferred it in his article, but I really don't care either way. Sengun is here to stay and the Rockets are going to be in contention for years to come if they don't screw it up by trading Sengun or Amen.

He doesn't post much on here at all but it's been either on twitter, his articles, or his rockets broadcast thing. He advocated for Bruno to start over Sengun, he was a huge proponent of trading for Brook Lopez specifically because he wanted to see Sengun on the bench, and then most recently he really wanted the rockets to draft Clingan instead of Reed so that we could move Sengun to the bench. So maybe it's not about wanting him traded, but he's been pretty vocal about wanting him replaced. And tbh there's nothing wrong with that, it's like Hemingway said, he just doesn't believe in Sengun as an archetype. I think that's valid, I don't agree with it but I don't have a problem with it. He thinks you can't win with a guy like Sengun at center, and if he's right, then it would be in the rockets best interests to replace him. It kinda reminds me of all the people who told us we would never win a championship with Harden because heliocentric basketball cannot/won't ever win a championship. And that crowd is still pretty vocal, but they've turned their sights on Luka.
