Alperen Sengun is the Rockets' franchise player

That was a franchise-player performance. No doubt about that.

 

Missed shots and all, Alperen Sengun was an alpha tonight.

And Jabari and Alperen together totally outplayed an absolutely fantastic Minnesota frontline.

As 21/22 year olds... Really pleased with the interior play tonight. Playoff level defense inside and out.

7 is the most any Rocket has gotten? I am surprised by that.

Rude was +4 in 44 min, every other starter was between -14 and -20. Held sengun to 22 pts on 25 shooting possessions (jalen level efficiency). Not sure how Rudy was the problem but he's a fun punching bad for people for whatever reason.

Because he got his plus minus when Sengun was on the bench. When Sengun was in the game he literally abused Rudy especially in the second half, hence sengun plus 26.

 

How do you affect the game when your offense is struggling vs the DPOY? 10 rebounds 11 assists 3 steals 3 blocks clutch bucket.
