B2Bs are already stupid. B2Bs against the same team is straight up moronic. The offseason is already too long just get rid of B2Bs already you're just increasing the likelihood of injury.

 

Backcourt went 1/15 from 3 last night. Damn near impossible to win in the NBA when that’s what you produce. Incredible ithe final score was even that close.

 

They are all streaky shooters. If they are on, they hit multiple 3s and look like Steph Curry in steriods. When they are not, they are shooting like G-leaguers. It's okay to have one or two poor shooting games once a while, but it's too often for our players. I'm unsure if our players spending too much energy on the defensive end that affect their shots. If so, it may be time to expand the rotations or play the bench more minutes.

 

This last line could be it. You see Okc capping everyone not named SGA to around 25-28 minutes per game. Basically an 8 1/2 man rotation on a back to back is insane. Thought the league wanted to get rid of back to backs

 

Neither FVV nor Green are consistent enough shooters, they are both areas we need to upgrade.

Now come on, so you admit that players cannot see each other for more than 1 game.....otherwise they turn into raging bulls?

 

B2B, 5 games in 7 days. Green and FVV 1-15 from 3P. Team overall shot 36% (25% from 3). Fatigue played a role.

Holiday 0 min. Tate 0 min. Jeff G 0 min. Sheppard 2-4 from 3P (11miin). Whitmore sent to G League.

Poor player and time management.

 

So Adam Silver can mess with the schedule to add in a meaningless mid-season tournament, but he can't get rid of back-to-backs?

 

The Rockets have a serious back 2 back issue. TO the point where I didnt watch because I knew we would lose.

 

Texans were not playing elite defense

 

This was worse than the Milwaukee game. On a side note, i hope the refs dont start picking on Fred now.

 

The schedule has been pretty dumb so far. The Rockets played their 18th game last night. Miami had only played 13 at that point. They still should've beaten the Blazers, but I can't exactly blame them for likely having dead legs.

This is coming because Amen has the quickest first step on the team. He must improve at not turning the ball over when attacking (esp getting stripped by a help defender). KD had this 100% exact same issue and it took him almost 2 years to figure it out.

This is most definitely coming. Rockets need a couple of guys to step up and become consistent, reliable closers on the offensive end. Guys who will either finish or draw a foul. IMO, this is their biggest weakness along with outside shooting.

LOL, believe it or not, there's a thread in the NBA Dish asking why the NBA doesn't schedule "best of three" series like MLB.

IMO, if B2Bs must happen, it makes the most sense to have the same teams in the same location.
