This is modern NBA. The Portland beat Minny twice because they shot obscene percentage of 3s. Any team can be beaten if there is enough 3s discrepency. Stone made a mistake of drafting Green but he didn't want to admit it, so he signed Green to a shorter contract hopefully he can use this contract as a trade chip. This is similar to the Daniel Thesis situation, Stone always try to amend his mistake during the trade deadline. Unfortunately, no team is going to trade for Green. His contract is worse than Zach Lavine.

 

Need it. Holiday probably plays more knowing Ime #mensclub

 

Is anyone else starting to dread when Jalen shoots threes? Feels similar to when Westbrook shoots

 

Losses like this tell we are pretender instead of contender.

I was screaming for Udoka to sub in Tari for Fred that entire last minute. Anfernee Simons got off a clean look because FVV is too short.

If only we had a player that was drafted high that can shoot 3s and was feeling it today.

 

Westbrook has 36.5% 3pt shooting this season.

 

The Blazers clearly were just gonna live or die by the three in the second half and they wound up living(barely).

 

Reed shooting good this game but Udoka rather play horrible Fred.

 

Didn't the Blazers win here last season thanks to a last second 3 in which Fred was guarding the shooter?

 

This was just one loss but real Rockets fans know we're never going anywhere in this 3pt shooting era of basketball until we find competent starting guards that can hit 3s consistently.

Nearly every night we're relying on playoff defense to win us games and that's just not sustainable, especially when b2bs exists.

 

This guy im replying is a f-ing idiot, but if for some reason you think we are a contender. Get your head checked.

We are a pretender team 100% and a growing team batting above average.

We are going to lost in the playoffs and our weaknesses will be magnified.

But it is still a FUN and EXCITING season.

 

Defensively, Tari would have been the right call despite Sengun having a decent game down the stretch. We let Simmons go off in the 4th and he got downhill pretty easily on our defense. There was zero resistance. I wouldn't worry about Tari having a bad game, defensively it would of been the right move. I get it though, it's hard to make these kind of decisions when no one else has it going.

 

Because Reed refuses to shoot when he's open.

 

I wonder if they’ll bring Cam up for the FVv suspension game.
