The Batman - 6/10. it was boring. Batman in the day time also looked so dumb to me. Batman was rarely in the shadows dude would just show up and stand there in full view of the police. bro, you are vigilante, what are you doing?

Is it though? I say no.

For the first time likely ever in cinema history

Saw Bonhoeffer last night. That guy is toward the top of my list of personal heroes. Yes, even higher than Bill Doran.

I thought it was well done (acting, sets, plot) but I couldn't make it halfway. I'll give it another chance sometime when I'm in the mood for a slow moving detective movie.

What did you think? Was thinking of taking my Dad to this when I'm in TX, but I heard it's a little on the long side.

Bonhoeffer's story is important, and his writings are inspiring.

I really enjoyed it, but that was probably a foregone conclusion. If they make a movie about Bill Doran I can tell you right now I’ll probably love it :)

    The Rocker.
A vastly under rated funny film with a cast you would have never thought. A solid 8 for a comedy you don't have to pay full attention to.
    Cast:
    Emma Stone
    Bradley Cooper
    Rainn Wilson
    Josh Gad
    Christina Applegate
    Jason Seduikas
    Jane Lynch
    Jeff Garland
    Will Arnet
    Fred Armison
    Jane Krakowski
    Dimitri Martin
And Dr. Johney Fever himself, Howard Hessman.

That's been recommended to me for a while by whatever streaming service it's on...will now watch based on your recommendation. Don't let me down.

It's not Citizen Kane. But once you get past the dumb opening scene it's laugh out loud funny.
Problem is I do not know if it is streaming anywhere. I had to purchase it on Amazon Prime movies.

Had to do the same with Grosse Point Blank. Another of my all-time favorites. Not available to stream anywhere. Can only rent or purchase from Amazon again.

Ahhhh...that may be why I never watched it. I refuse to pay for movies on a streaming service I'm already paying money for. Just a pet peeve of mine.

    Beetlejuice 2, 7.2 out of 10.
I remember my Uncle Carmelo gifting me the original on VHS. And as a child the shrunken head and zebra snake freaked me out, not gun fire in Central America or Afton but this movie did. Never finished it. You don't have to watch the first one to enjoy this one. Really liked it.
Now I have to go back and watch the original and see if Catherine O'hara plays her character the same way. She was too Moira Rose with the delivery.

    The Terrifier 3, -4 out of 10.
Watched it with the wifey and her sister. Hadn't seen any previous ones. I couldn't watch 5 minutes. I just kept scrolling through Tucker threads. What the F is the dude's problem? The clown, not Tucker. I mean Jason Voorhees kills but at least those horny camp counselors are on his turf. This M'fer dresses up as Santa and kills random people. Genuinely surprised by the praise these get on RT.

the writing, the cinematography, the actors, the music, the realism… such perfect harmony. it has elements of ted lasso feel-good, while also top gun action sequences. i don’t know what else to say, you just have to see it for yourself.
