Bengals claimed CB Marco Wilson off waivers from New England. 1) Didn't know he got waived by Pats 2) I wonder if BDN put a claim in on him 3) might've been a good get after watching Okudah getting left in the dust
Yeah, the guy doesn't actually 'quote' a statement and puts that out there without following up on it. It reads like at least one person is actively working against them, and now they know who it is. It is ridiculous
Just depends on what you're expectations were to begin with. I had them as a 10-11 win team before the season started. Even with a myriad of injuries they're on track for this record. Slowik called a really good game Monday night. Stroud's off for now and it's hurting the team. He's got 8 weeks to improve and I think this will happen. Even with the injuries this team has proven they can beat anybody. When this defense gets healthy they will be on par with if not better than the Chiefs defense IMHO.
IDK if I'd call Stroud off so much as inconsistent... I've seen him deliver throws these past few weeks that very few QBs in the NFL can throw (the TD throw vs the Lions right before halftime is an example), and I've also seen him air mail throws he should make in his sleep. His internal clock is still ****ed it seems and his mechanics aren't quite back to form. Hopefully, he gets used to not having a defensive tackle in his lap 1 second after the snap and reverts to the form we know he can be at. As for the Chiefs, I'm terrified of Chris Jones going against our interior offensive line... Hopefully they're up to the task because Jones has the ability to completely take over a game if they aren't.
Agreed, His footwork is a mess and that's what's leading to his inconsistencies throwing the ball. Chris Jones is the single most dominant defensive player in the NFL IMHO. The Texans should have just as good of a defense as the Chiefs when healthy. A front 4 of WA/Autry/Edwards/Hunter LB's Harris/Al Shaair/White Is probably the fastest front 7 in the NFL. Then if Healthy Stingley/Lassiter/Petrie at CB Bullock Ward at S. Texans defense will be better than anybody they face including the Chiefs. Stroud just has to take care of the ball and make 4/5 plays in a game and this team can beat anybody.
Looked at multiple quotes from multiple articles about the two hour players only meeting after the jets loss, that quote is no where to be found. You don't have to prove **** to me, you don't have to respond to me, ****er you don't even have to be here
So is that Sarge guy. Always talking that "OH BOY YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT I JUST HEARD" fake news. All of Twitter now is a cesspool though honestly. Bluesky seems to be working out pretty well so far for me just waiting on all the sports related accounts to show up. edit: Dont feed the stray bro -- he's just a mangy, flea ridden nuisance. Take away his treats and let him starve.
Is that good or bad? Im not too familiar with Reddit. All I know is that Twitter has become unbearable and Bluesky is very similar to it, but seems to have a good tempered community so far albeit very small and not encompassing all the accounts I would follow on Twitter. I couldnt seem to "get" Mastodon.
Thinking about the overall roster now that WAJ and Lassiter are practicing. Nick has done a great job overall. The only positions in need of an upgrade at starter are G and C. All the other starters are at least above average. In the draft obviously IOL is a need but the other needs are better backups. I’d like to see a backup RB, CB, DT, and another WR especially if Diggs leaves. The DTs have been solid (Settle with 5 sacks!) and the was the position group we were most worried about. This is the best most complete set of starters I can recall in franchise history. If Nick can deliver on a depth upgrade, and land a premier IOL, next year will be very exciting.
He’s serviceable but we need to be full go for the next two years while CJ is on his rookie deal. If there’s a better option in trade, draft, or FA let’s do it.
You didn't think we'd have more wins than last year after signing Mixon, Hunter, Autry, and Diggs? Man, I thought we'd have at least a couple more wins than last year, especially with Tank back and CJ having a year experience. I had absolutely no faith in that same bunch of offensive linemen though, even if they were healthy. Granted, that was before the Autry suspension and all our injuries, but I certainly thought we would have more than 10 or 11 wins. I still won't count us out going all the way though. Anything is possible with our amazing defense.
