Can you supporters explain why this is a good idea?
Is it good because it is forcing people out
    or
is it good because remote work is bad?

You generally recommend doing something bad/vile to get a "good result" is a overall good thing to do?

    I'm curious

Some fake arse division....you don't need a task force to just cut subsidiaries and fire people in order to save money.

Another show that could rival Hollywood.

And Elon is getting billion dollar contracts regardless, Vivek is getting things back as well.

The best part is they can't actually do anything. They have absolutely no authority to make any cuts or fire anyone. Just suggestions.

    I thought Outcomes didn't matter
They are very against worrying about Outcomes
    (Equality of Outcomes is bad)
Crowdsourcing means everyone with an Axe to grind gets a chance
Then they only pick the axes that will benefit the departments

Once again SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT will be the WHITEST OF PRIVILEGES

Out society praising venture capitalists like Elon as the paragon of who to strive to be instead of people like John B Goodenough is how we got to a place of grifters like Vivek with no skillsets to provide to humanity being in charge of "government efficiency".

Society has brainwashed people to believe the brunt of ingenuity and innovation happens through venture capitalism rather than stubborn intellectually curious academic scientists stuck in some university basement lab doing actual work

If people saw venture capitalists as no different than a college adminstrator who hires graduate students and scientists or a politician who helps greenlight a project that hires engineers and scientists then we wouldn't have this problem. But we have conditioned humans to praise the accumulation of capital as a merit based endeavor.
