Avoiding any critical injuries before the playoffs is the key. Even with injuries we would have to really screw the pooch to not win our division, but we can't afford to have Mixon or Nico hurt again to stand a chance in the playoffs. Having a healthy Lassiter, Stingley, Anderson, Hunter, and CJ are also very important to bring our best game in playoffs.
It's hilarious that many here try diminish what Goff has done and is doing to try and prop CJ up. Goff is an extremely talented QB. He was taken first overall in the 2016 draft. He has been in a Super Bowl. Pro Bowl 3 times. Is having an MVP season right now. The sky is the limit for Jared. And every person that knows him has said he is a high quality individual. Just stop with the Jared is not a great QB, and has had a better than good career so far only because of other people.
Yeah, agree. There are 5 guys who are always a threat to throw touchdowns more than anyone else and he's one of them. That's a huge plus when your QB is always a scoring threat. From 2022 to present the touchdown leaders are: Mahomes 83/37 Allen 82/37 Goff 79/28 Burrows 77/22 Jackson 66/17 * Josh Allen gets the super bonus for 27 rushing touchdowns on top of that.
Goff is great if everything around him is great. He gets a hint of pressure that moves him off his spot, he completely falls apart... See his super bowl performances, his performance this year against the Texans, etc. He's a good not great QB. Also, why are you even here?
The way we use Mixon makes me nervous at times, simply because we don't have anyone else who can move like him.........it's almost the drop off we would see if CJ went down, and Mills played. I would like to think Pierce is better this year, but he doesn't really tote the rock, so we simply do not know, Joe is just "different", he is an old school bruiser who gets stronger as the game goes on. Joe is my offensive MVP, but I hope we get some quality depth through the draft
Goff has played in one Super Bowl. Since you didn't know that, one can infer you know nothing about how Jared performed in the one Super Bowl he actually played in. You have claimed to have seen him perform in multiple Super Bowls. We all know you have never seen him play in any. One would conclude the only game you have ever seen him play in is when he beat your precious Texans. Bottom line: You are the last person that could evaluate Jared as a quarterback. Zero credibility. I am here solely to annoy you personally. I am pleased it is going as planned. Toodle-Loo
Texans by 17. We're frustrated early, but they pick it up in the 2nd half. And we get a pick-6 on defense. Thanks!!
Texans owner Cal McNair, speaking at an event where they gave back to the Houston Fire Department, kept it diplomatic, saying the players and coaches know each other well, playing each other twice a year. He called it a challenge. Hannah McNair, his wife, the the Texans Foundation Vice President was a little more blunt. “We’ve taken over Houston,” she said. “We’ve taken our fans back. So they are just the Titans now.”
Folks said the same thing last year about Bryce Young if he only had Slowik as his OC, lol how things can change so quickly.
