I will name names. Lucy Sun is the DOJ prosecutor who wanted mother of 8 and grandmother of 7 Rachel Powell 8 years behind bars after 3 years on house arrest. Yes, Rachel broke a window, a misdemeanor, after being shot at with rubber bullets and stun grenades, beaten by the police, tear gassed, and pepper sprayed while protesting the 2020 election fraud. She watched Roseann Boylan killed in front of her. Roseann's corpse was repeatedly beaten by a DC cop. Judge Royce Lamberth, in his 80s, who fell asleep at the bench during her trial, erroneously found Rachel guilty of the 1512 charge, saying that Rachel had to be sent to prison in order to protect the country. Rachel had no prior criminal record, is an exemplary mother, and is still languishing in a federal penitentiary in West Virginia, where six male prisoners pretending to be women are also housed. I have visited her several times. The Hazelton penitentiary is a dysfunctional disgrace. She has been waiting for a resentencing hearing since the June 2024 Supreme Court ruling threw out the 1512 charge. It is now November 18th and nothing has been scheduled. Justice better be coming!​

Destroying the FBI and DOJ - turning it into Trump's personal gestapo to go after his political enemies - while it may bring satisfaction to the MAGA crowd, would have many consequences they may not like.

-Terrorism
-Gang violence
-Mafia / organized crime
-Human Trafficking / Kidnapping
-Fraud

The local and state police are not equipped to hand many of these challenges which are often multistate and sophisticated beyond their tools. Not to mention the impact of going after people who criticize you has.

That isn't proof of anything related to the trial. It certainly isn't proof that a jury couldn't fairly weigh the evidence presented. People who vote Democrats are tried in states like Alabama, Mississippi, or Indiana all the time. I have no reason to doubt about those juries.

Again, stop playing dumb. The difference is that Trump is a political figure. And when a political figure is tried using a jury pool in which only 6% of the area from which the jury pool is drawn voted for that political figure, then it's obvious on its face that the jury pool is biased. Prosecutors routinely look for the best venues to try their case, and this is a perfect example. Your example does not contemplate the political aspect.

When black youth were tried in the 1800's by all white juries, did you need proof that those juries were not unbiased?

People can vote and also serve on a jury. Not every jury has to be composed of people from the same political party. If that were the case, it would be impossible to find juries all over the nation.

It's another case of people whining and trying to make themselves or their allies out to be poor pitiful victims. Boohoo. People need to put on their big boy pants and stop crying because they did something wrong and are being held accountable.
