If we can easily say 18/7/5 on 21 shot as pretty bad for a player he is all star.

I agree. You watch enough Alperen and you can see the body language.

I was triggered all night by his lack of attentiveness. Very little effort to contest at the rim like he has been this season.

He better bring it on Wednesday.

Alperen's final evolution is adding the three-ball. If he did he would be a year-in and year-out MVP candidate.

76% from the FT this year, so he is possibly improving.

Brook Lopez added the three to his game at 28 years old, and over time he got his FT% to 80%+... Career 50-35-80.

Alperen still has some work to do. At his size he needs to use all his tools. His handle, his quickness, his intelligence, and he needs to add consistent shooting to that repertoire.

The pass in question btw - I think it was a mistake to have FVV inbound this, puzzling decision. He threw it really far and Sengun spent a second too long tussling w Giannis I think, but probably didn't think they would leave him wide open. That was a mistake by the Bucks on defense, they messed up their rotations.

Why does Sengun often stop playing throwing his arms up in the air complaining about a call instead of continuing to play? One specific play he got ripped in the paint. Instead of going after the ball or running back in transition he completely stopped and threw his arms up.

    Aka the KPJ/Jalen special.

    And the Jock Landale special.

You may be noticing a recurring trend here that isn't specific to one specific player like you're trying to paint it out as being.

It's not "often", but yes, it is a bad habit. Needs to stop.

You mean Jalen. Lopez had field day with Sengun guarding him

We also play slower which is not beneficial to our team. The 11 game winning streak last year was a example of us playing faster

Fvv is not good at this kind of pass, similar to alley oop passes. Still Sengun could have made it but it should not have come down to this anyway. Back to back on the road was a difficult one for everyone I guess.

Jalen too. He had an awesome start to the 4th. It’s not a coincidence that we made a run with those two playing in the beginning of the final quarter

Freddy is our best passer and the ball did hit Sengun in the hands - he doesnt leap for it until its on the edge of his wingspan. The play was brilliant with slasher running through as a decoy to shoot a 3. I think Sengun should have inbounded the ball to one of the other bigs as the peripheral action is what sprung the player near the rim and he is our 2nd best passer.

Yeah I blame them both tbh. It was a bad pass but it was still catchable. Like in football if you've got a wide open receiver on a route over the middle and you throw a "catchable" ball behind him so he drops it...sure it was catchable but how about you hit him in stride for the easy catch? Similar situation here, Sengun was very open so Fred had a large area to throw it to, it wasn't a tight window. He really screwed up the pass, and Fred said he blames himself in the postgame interview, he said he threw a terrible pass. But also Sengun could've adjusted and caught it.
