Reading the thread, if C J has an injury or even discomfort to his throwing hand, it explains a lot. Nothing affects precision more than an injured throwing hand. More INTs and more what the... moments. I'd like to know more about it, but they will hold that info TOP SECRET, - NEED TO KNOW ONLY.
I would like to know if this is true as it would explain the regression, CJ isn't playing bad, just not as elite as we have become accustomed to. Our D can be elite at times and with WAJ out and STILL no Harris we can be scary.........I guess the Texans will not update us on Harris? This pisses me off, its like its top secret, just tell us when you expect him back, this is K Tucker all over again. The one downside, we made Cooper Rush look like an All Star, granted he is a decent back up, but DAM. One last thing, Mixon is a DAWG, Nick made the right call trading for him and not letting him hit the open market
Hmmm, not sure I'm buying that excuse. If it's so bad he can't throw accurately, then we should be using a backup. I mean is that what cost us the loss to the Jets and Packers? It still doesn't explain why he hasn't seen guys open in the end zone, or why he's held it too long at times, and not seen open guys, or why we've made it look nearly impossible to throw into the end zone all year.
They won't even give you a side eye. They have already moved on to off-season mode when glizzies and glitter become their priority.
That was a nice get right game. Joe Mixon is this years MVP. Buddy answers the bell every game and puts in major work. OL did a bang up job for the most part. It got a little messy at times, but overall they held up. Need Scruggs to clean some things up on the interior. I thought Patterson did a great job at center getting the line on the same page. Refs jobbed us on the first play TD to Nico. I cant lie I was yelling at the TV "Dont pull your hammy again chill" -- I think that was a good game for Nico to get his feet wet and see how everything responds today. CJ is not hurt guys cmon now lets stop chasing ghosts. His spiral is as tight as its ever been and he's getting plenty velo on his throws. He's just not diagnosing the field very well right now. Partly because he's been rattled a bit this year, and what I think to be the main cause is that DCs have had time to copy each other. This started week 3 when Flores made CJ look like a snot nosed rookie still wet behind the ears. DCs since then have copied that blueprint. Stack the box and drop. Stack the box -- decoy blitz from strong side drop and bring it from the weak side. It has nothing to do with health.
Well, damn. I guess it's good we are getting to the softer side of our schedule. Or we could put in MONEY MILLZZZZZ baby and rest CJ . We probably wouldn't win a game w/ Mills though lol. Hopefully the hand injury sort of clears up between starts.
Well at least we know the defensive side of the coaching staff knows how to make adjustments at half time....Slowik still not so much.
