Just finished game. OMG those announcers were atrocious. Was that Doris Burke? Are they the Bucks home broadcasters? Because omg she was clearly rooting for them and it was extremely annoying to listen to her.

Does anyone else remember PJ Tucker having a 3 pointer taken away several plays later because he stepped out of bounds? Why were they able to do that, but not do anything about Giannis today?

Pj Tucker collects shoes for a living.

    Giannis has a shoe deal.

    biggest difference.

All I know is that the “Sons of Thunder” were causing terror once again

would have been sweet to capitalize on Giannis’s mistake for the game winner, Fred’s pass wasn’t a clean one. Overall glad we had a legit chance to win but FVV’s having the green light is kinda getting annoying when he’s really off lol

Just watched the game. Last 2 min is really bad for us. It should be lessons learned game.

    Brooks missed two shots.
Sengun made one missed one with Giannis block.
FVV made the TO. It is not a good pass as Alperen also frustrated afterwards.

WTF was that last play, FVV on the inbounds was a terrible idea since he cannot throw an alley-oop even and Sengun too focused on pushing off his defender to get to the ball in time to go up quickly. Terrible execution on offense for a large portion of the night once again.

Got lucky with some of FVV’s shots. But honestly, we lost this on defense. You cannot give those guys wide open shots like we did. If I had any hair, I would’ve pulled it out. How often we just double teamed or were ready to double to leave a guy open. I did not like that strategy one bit. Also in transition, that Green dude was just left wide open and there was no excuse for that.

Mental lapses and strategy cost us. Offense we already know is ****, but defense, that just cannot happen. Still was amazing we were in the game given how we played. Adams needs to sit down if he cannot even catch a ball, Reed can sit if he doesn’t dare to shoot, Jabari can stop shooting if he continues to fade on every single one of them with an already flat ass shot arc. I liked Ime going with different guys and Holiday paid off, but this was last by strategy more so than anything.

I do give them credit for the hustle and that challenge was good, just refs refusing to do their job. It’s always hand is part of the ball and now he barely grazes the wrist and it’s a foul? Bullshit.

The pass in question from a better angle - I think it was a mistake to have FVV inbound this, puzzling decision. He threw it really far and Sengun spent a second too long tussling w Giannis I think, but probably didn't think they would leave him wide open. That was a mistake by the Bucks on defense, they messed up their rotations. I'm not sure if FVV thought Jabari would cut and get it tbh, it's that off.

Yeah that’s 50% on FVV for throwing a bad pass, 40% on Ime for having him throw it and 10% on Sengun. 100% meant for Sengun.

Count how many times Lopez scored on Sengun directly or through pick & roll. Also watch the turnovers he forced on Sengun. Is this why Ime can't play Sengun & y'all get whiny

185 million contract only to get block like that lmao. Bro MMA fighters don’t even get paid a million and they put up more effort than that.

Could have used a lob threat on that last play dang! So close!

Jalen should never have games with zero free throw attempts. Staff needs to make it a priority to remind him to stay aggressive. 3 players shooting 20 shots each is not a recipe for success.

After last nights game we are now #28 in the NBA in team 3pt shooting (32.5%). o_O

All Stars? Well the Houston Area All Stars......Sengün is probably borderline All Star bench level.

Tari and Amen could be All Stars if they further develop their offensive skillsets.

BLopez always torches us. Got to respect how he polished that 3-ball so late in his career. Hope Sengun gets there.

Dame still a Rocket killer, dammit.

Helluva FVV 3rd Q. I wish he hadn't sat so long and gone cold in the 4th Q.

Is Adams 100% yet? I wonder why Ime doesn't try pairing him with Alpi, Jock, or Uncle Jeff-- or play him a few more minutes, regardless pairings.

Really enjoy Tari and Amen's hustle. Thought that'd be enough to win this one.

    We are getting better.

Lopez is a 30% shooter this year. Dude was basically red court Jabari Smith yesterday. It happens.

I hate morale victories but this has to be a solid example of one. This was the closest to playoff energy from an opponent the team has had this season and they had them dead to rights and got unlucky.

These are “good” loses that reinforce the team’s players that they ARE at the level of contenders

So true and a big part of that is Jalen's terrible chucking. He has returned to the mean for his career. It's not sustainable for winning shooting as much as he does. Should have traded him in October while he was hot.

Jalen needs to play ahead of the pace. He plays within but he doesn’t realize he his play and skill can dictate its own pace.
