Most likely not. I know people love to play internet tough guy... but the reality is that BS almost always disappears in real life.
So many people on the “strong guy dunks hard” bandwagon. Reed plays (too much) within the team structure, hustles on defense, always makes an extra pass. If Cam could do even one of those things he might deserve and get minutes.
Tough night for Reed to get some playing time. Still looks like he is trying to make the right play which is ultimately the right thing to do at this stage. Should see more time tomorrow vs Pacers. Right call by Ime to not put him back in when the game was in the balance.
On Cam, he's got three guys significantly better than him as SFs (4 if you count Jabari). If the Rockets had 3 PGs at least as good as Brooks is as a SF, Reed would be in the G-League too.
For Sheppard and his flock. Now many of them are warming up to the idea of sending him to the Valley.
I think it would be fine if they sent him to the g league to get up shots but I don’t think he has done anything to lose us games. I would want to hold off until we have a run of tough games that he won’t get time. We are about to play b2b with the blazers which could be a good opportunity for him.
