Oh, this is a Barry deal, figures.

Transgender National day fell on Easter Sunday.

Crap like this is why Biden/Harris lost the election, along with the border/inflation/ME wars etc... It's like Barry wants us to become a 3rd world country. Even if not, he certainly doesn't believe in American exceptionalism. Which isn't surprising given his background.

You inserted the word "single person" and changed the context of Nook's comment. Obviously a one-person bathroom is different from a bathroom where there are multiple people / stalls / urinals.

    Easter Sunday....

The day of the week being centered around when Easter happens should mean that if you have any basic understanding of our calendar system, the date changes every year.

That is literally what all these genderless bathrooms were. Most public schools and universities have your male and female bathrooms meant for multiple people. That was the plan to have a third bathroom for single person use that is genderless.

The concept of a third genderless bathrooms for multiple people doesn't make sense because within the spectrum of transgenderism there are mtf, ftm etc. So you don't build a bathroom for each type. You just build a third single person genderless bathrooms. That's how it works. It makes no sense to have like 7 type of bathrooms for all types of gender preferences. It makes more sense to just have a third single person genderless bathroom.

What about really shy people who prefer single person bathrooms?

Why are you against the concept of single person bathrooms in public spaces?

You can be anti something, and still not hate the individuals. Sort of like racists having black friends. Most do.

    a) Being against permanent gender affirming care for children is fine. It isn't an unreasonable stance.
    b) I'm not under the impression anyone is being forced (though perhaps coerced). In this country at least.
    c) I don't really know why people care so much about the bathroom, but unisex bathrooms would be my preference. Locker rooms I could see more so, but the whole locker room, shared shower spaces, and whatever are just messed up to begin with because they aren't private spaces (Literally #1 reason I didn't want to go into the military). Sports are more complex to me, because the nature of sports is unfair based on physical traits. I don't really care either way. I don't mind my daughter playing sports against or with boys. I hope she kicks their ass on the court/field or whatever.
    d) It isn't that hard. Sort of like calling somebody by their preferred name. I find most people don't care unless you are intentionally being a jerk about it.

Dont let kids do sex changes until they're adults.

Dont teach a lot of sexual lifestyles to young children.

What's funny is the whole concept of right advocating for trans people not being allowed to go to restrooms of their desired gender means you just get more awkward situations of almost fully transitioned female to male trans individuals where no one would assume the individual is a female at birth walking into a female bathrooms and causing a scene where now they have to prove they were born female or then be accused of harassing women in a women's restroom.

It's literally a way to make trans people feel an anxiety attack any time they are out in public needing tinkle. They want trans people to feel anxiety in public

In mass people situations there's reasons they have Boys/Girls bathrooms.

I've got no issues with multi sex port a potties you speak of.

Ya. And what harm is there in adding a third single person genderless bathroom outside of added cost to add the third bathroom. There is zero moral dilemma here.

Nope, people just dont want a freak show when they go to the restroom. Also other bad things like rapes have happened in these situations.

In the United States and internationally, certain jurisdictions have enacted laws imposing fines or penalties for intentionally not addressing individuals by the gender they have "chosen" or failing to use their chosen pronouns. Here are some examples:

    United States:

    • New York City: The New York City Human Rights Law prohibits discrimination based on gender identity or expression. Intentional or repeated refusal to use a person's preferred name, pronouns, or title can be considered a violation, potentially resulting in fines up to $250,000 for willful and malicious conduct.

      NYC.gov

    • California: Senate Bill 219, enacted in 2017, aimed to protect LGBTQ seniors in long-term care facilities. The law included provisions that penalized staff for willfully and repeatedly failing to use a resident's preferred name or pronouns, with fines up to $1,000 and potential jail time. However, in 2021, a California appellate court struck down this provision, ruling it violated free speech rights.

      Reason
    International:

    • Canada: In 2017, Canada passed Bill C-16, amending the Canadian Human Rights Act to include "gender identity or expression" as prohibited grounds for discrimination. While the law does not explicitly mandate the use of specific pronouns, it has been interpreted to mean that refusing to use someone's chosen pronouns could be considered discrimination, potentially leading to fines or other penalties.

    • Germany: The "Selbstbestimmungsgesetz" (Self-Determination Act), effective August 1, 2024, allows individuals to change their gender and first name through a simple registration process. The law includes provisions that penalize the unauthorized disclosure of a person's previous gender or name, which could encompass intentional "misgendering", with fines imposed for violations.

      Welt
These examples illustrate how various jurisdictions address the issue of misgendering, balancing protections against discrimination with considerations of free speech and individual rights.

Unsurprisingly, it's the leftist states and countries who have gone overboard with this.

Where would you propose that they do this say at NRG when you're going to a football game?

I'm in solidarity with all the political prisoners affected by these anti-censorship laws.

Ya man. I'm pretty sure a trans person who is female to male who is fully transitioned and outwardly looks 100% like a dude without doing a private parts check isn't going to look like a freak show going to the bathroom of his birth gender.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't situation hence the bad faith nature of it internally designed to make trans people feel abject fear and anxiety out in public.

This isn't about a discussion, this is a thing where if you want transgender bathrooms how do you propose to make this happen at an indoor venue like NRG? Come up with an idea of how you want to accomplish your goal that will be acceptable to the public at large.
