Everything shouldn't run through him, it shouldn't be a one man system. Now you're missing the point. The point is that he should be used as a distributor. That doesn't mean the only distributor, that doesn't mean he should be the only one with the ball in his hands. But when he does have the ball in his hands, he should be used as a passer. Through our first 10 games, every time he got the ball, it was a post isolation with 4 guys standing still. Seriously, go back and watch it, nobody moved when Sengun got the ball. They all stood still and stared at him. That should not be the main way he is used. We need to run actions while he has the ball in the post. That is when our offense works best, when he is getting everyone involved. Last night he had assists to all four of our starters. That's the way it needs to be. Not this iso post up crap where everyone stands around.

To be honest, I think its two fold. I think the TEAM looks better because Sengun has bought in on the defensive end and the other players are hitting their shots. Last yr when they went on the 11 - game win streak, it was Jalen but it was the other players around him who were playing well too; hitting shots and playing better defense.
Some of us have been saying that Sengun could be a much more explosive Draymond on offense. When Reed's balls drop and Amen can hit mid ranges (and if Jabari can get to 40% from 3) this could be a title contender. Watching Reed bend the Bulls defense into a pretzel well after Sengun sat was tantalizing. Looking forward to Alpy missing the All Star game while Victor Chuck-o-rama is named a starter.
If Sengun continues performing like this and we continue winning, I doubt he misses the All Star game.

Sorry no, this is a fake narrative and easily disproved. His assists are not up because teammates are "just hitting their shots." Sengun has 32 potential assists in the last two games, that is 16 per game. In the previous 12 games (the rest of the season) he was averaging 7.1 potential assists per game. In the last two games it has more than doubled. The way he is being used on offense is completely different.
