    HEY BUD LET"S PARTY!

You mean you didn't enjoy his wildly obscure references from shows/films that happened before a great many Rockets fans were even born?

9-4 we're running out of things to complain about. Netflix's fake boxing match and Ryan Hollins?

Couple more wins people might even start cheering for the squad, what a shame.

Because I'm a sucker for Rockets ball, I watched both games vs Chicago 92-93 last night. Bullard killed it from midrange in the 2nd game.

I never felt Clyde was atrocious. He was boring and repetitive, but his voice didn’t grate me like Chancellor’s. Bull was just a dork.

As fun as Mad Max would be, I’m not sure I could handle his nasally voice after a while, either. Shane would indeed be a good fit, or Chuck Hayes (also with an org, I think).

Is TNT still losing NBA eventually? Maybe Kenny takes would be interested. Mike Breen does Knicks games while also doing national TV for other games and sports.

    What’s Horry doing? Occasionally announcing?

    Heck I’d consider Rafer Alston.

    Artest?! Not really.

Vernon Maxwell definitely not, I used to love the idea but man he cannot go for 5 seconds without “na mean” and “****”. He would quickly run out of things to talk about and you cannot censor that dude.

People overreacting to kind of a tongue in cheek thread that I simply want Ryan to come up with something new instead of laughing like he’s Eddie Murphy in Nutty Professor watching Dave Chappelle bomb on stage lol.

Wish we could afford JVG on the broadcast. He can watch Rice baseball games on off days

Hollins is appreciably less cringy lately--or at least not as aggressively annoying. He's almost tolerable.

The other guy is unremarkable in either direction, a milquetoast kind of guy.

    God yes.

I really want to like Ryan and I think he has a lot of potential, but there isn't a single Rockets highlight from the last three years without him cackling into the mic. It's so grating to listen to.

I know I didn't hear him earlier say " it ain't trickin if you got it" on a missed Bull layup did I? Dude fortunate to be 7 ft in an era where 7 ft automatically got you a roster spot.. cause he beyond corny

Him always saying "that's pretty!" is getting to the point where it reminds me of Reggie Miller always yelling "look at this!" whenever something good happens lol.

We have a winning team and somehow this forum finds a way to complain about Ryan Hollins commentary.

Compared to the rest of the league our guys are great. I cant stand other announcers I guess its just me. Craig and Crew are so positive and nice to other teams and they arent homers which I hate.

Rockets have had poor TV and radio broadcast teams for years, it hasn't been good since Bill and Calvin/Peterson and Foley.

The Astros have spoiled us with top notch guys, Kalas and Blum/Ford and Sparky are the best in the country. Before that Brown and Deshaies and Milo on radio was superb.

Vandermeer and Ware are also top notch for the Texans.
