Brilliant projects, ambitious ideas, crazy spending and sloppy implementation...I agree it was bad, but i think it will be worse under Trump, think of India's Moody and his ultra rich circle .and the wealth desperately from the rest.

Kamala plan to tax unrealized capital gain was actually the only good option

Trump can try but it'll be hard outspend Biden this time around. Looks like we'll stress test entitlement spending before any sane party touches that third rail.

I bet @adoo will waddle in like a blind puppy soiling every post by justifying the annual trillion dollars deficit spending for the another 4 years even while everyone else and their grandchildren has to deal with it.

This is a joke ..... right?

Otherwise you'll have to explain to me how the hell you tax unrealized gains that have the potential to become losses.

Do we get a refund .....

#1 - It isn't we, as few people have that wealth
    #2 - Essentially, yes

The big problem is the ultra rich are bypassing income taxes. Something has to be done about it, but there is no serious traction.

The dollar store is more the $1.25 store.

Interest rates are way lower than they were 40 years ago. They were astronomical back then. They are basically the same as when I was in high school 20 years ago. Detached from reality.

I don't believe that to be true.

If you look at the facts, the ultra rich pay a much larger share of the taxes than anyone else.

They just have a much larger piece of the pie to tax and much more left after paying said taxes.

Mere economic mortals feel the pain of much smaller tax rates where the ultra rich wouldn't feel a 75% rate.

The big problem isn't who pays what in taxes at all, it's our government. they have a spending problem that enriches them and many outside the US while they drain us of our wealth - a few billion at a time.

And there is your problem. You don't believe. They would already pay a lower rate via capital gains rates, but they avoid selling their stock, taking reasonable salaries, or paying dividends.

prima facie evidence of an under-informed parrot

this underscores the fact that, other than copying/pasting disjointed verbiage, Invisible is incapable of seeing the whole economic forest, GDP

    what else is new !

The US economy has work hard to become the most efficienct/effective ecocnomy, in terms of access to capital, as evidenced by the fact that
the under-informed Invisible is parroting that the US stop leveraging this economic advantage over its global economic counterparts.

    How stupid is that ?

You're right wages aren't keeping pace with inflation. Wages are exceeding inflation.

You cite homes and food prices are higher, yet you refuse to see why and that these issues are global.

    Irrelevant.

The wealthy still pay more actual dollars and a greater percentage of overall income in taxes. They just have a bigger pie and more left over after ....

A quick google search tells you the truth of the matter:

what percentage of taxes does the top 5% of earners pay in America - Google Search

Instead of biitching about the taxes someone else pays - how about b**** about the stupid ass spending.

Like funding both sides of the war in Israel .... These morons have sent billions to both Israel & Hamas / Palestine. What kinda stupid is that?

Or the overwhelming majority of funds sent to Ukraine by the US when it's Europe's problem.

Billions sent to hostile regimes like Iraq ....

Billions spent on "undocumented immigrants" and absolutely no progress in solving the issue.

The list goes on for days.

Our government has a spending problem and we let them do it.

Or you could b**** about both? By the way that isn't close to the ultra wealthy.

you're wrong, the tax payer union obtains data from the IRS, which shows that the top 1% of tax payer pay 45.8% of the taxes collected by the IRS.
    https://www.ntu.org/foundation/tax-page/who-pays-income-taxes

which means that the bottom 99% of tax payers pay 54.2% of taxes collected by the IRS

That response belongs in the dipshit morons thread.

You should have reread my post before responding.

My statement was the top 5% .... Not the top 1%.

Again. I know youre brainwashed but spirit airlines didn't argue in court that they were at risk for bankruptcy which is why they needed the merger to proceed. They could've made that argument which would've altered the judgemental but they said that was not a risk.

Don't blame me cuz you have a shitty legal team. You right wing trolls are such morons no offense
