Well. Running on third and long, giving up a free play bomb, and now getting stuffed on 4th and 1. Not Good.

Basically, the offense just sits and waits for a mistake or miracle. It's either a complete lack of trust or total ineptitude. Probably both. But sad to watch. All said, I did not think we would get to 4 wins. So, this season has pretty much been a miracle.

2 for 17 on converting third and fourth downs. That's so awful I don't even know what to say about it. Offensive play calling was not good, the execution of it was bad, just a total **** show on that side of the ball. Embarrassing.

It seems almost comical to say it, but that game was winnable.

Everything hinged on like 4-5 plays, all of which we lost.

I watched the 1H, and man the mistakes were brutal.

What happened to the running game in the 2H? They had like 122 yards at halftime and finished with 135?

They fell behind too far to keep running it.

Had they won a few of those short yardage downs or not given up a big play or two it's basically our game walking away.

I do not understand why they put Donovan in on goal to go... he's hard to bring down in the open field, he's not some fullback or something.

Was Burnette (sp?) their starting RB or designated short-yardage guy? I noticed in that he had 2 runs early, fumbled the ball away both times, and never got another carry.
