With these formats it's really hard to not appear coached when coached. People who make rhetorical arguments on the fly and feel genuine and not coached do better in these formats.
I agree. The thing is it was a great opportunity to turn the moral panic and convert it to a populist message by calling out the red herring nature of the issue that distracts from real day to day issues Americans face. You accomplish so much by hammering home this argument. You make the people who spam these issues look like charlatan grifters. You express your economic populist credentials. And you don't throw trans people under the bus. win-win-win
Again. You keep making a point that doesnt exist in reality. The trump campaign did not say its inflation ads is what helped Trump win. People dont give a **** about the cause but rather what you are going to do about it. Her solution to raising rent costs is to build more housing! When you build more housing you obviously bring down prices as you have more supply on the market! Did you even watch her interviews she gave with black networks? She ONLY talked about economic issues and how she was going to tackle them heads on. You are asking her to do something which she obviously did. Trump campaign again said the #1 issue that worked for them were the trans issues and the border issues. You are claiming something that the trump campaign never said helped them "Ignore peoples feelings on trans women playing in women leagues and instead tell them theyre stupid for being concerned about it!" LOL. I now know why the progressive party is dying rapidily. Your guy bernie sanders got LESS VOTES THAN KAMALA IN HIS OWN STATE. He ran BEHIND every other senator in the race. Whatever he was selling people rejected. Quit pretending you have some magical formula.
The next presidential cnadidate the DNC choses needs to be a candidate that only needs to be coached on statistical data being memorized to not trigger any fact checking during a debate or discussion. Not a candidate that needs to be coached on entire talking points like Harris obviously is often when she repeats the same exact lines in a uncanny manner and barely expands beyond the initial memorized talking point.
The first thing the next candidate needs to do is to deny trans women from playing in womens sports. Come out of the gate and plant your flag on a topic that shows your anti dem establishment. You'll win over a large chunk of the population quickly. You're a clueless leftie.
We discussed this already. You are repeating original premises with slightly different phrasing now. Refer back to the past few pages to see my arguments against this reworded premise of yours you stated hours back.
Do you ever stop crying? You're the most miserable person here. Ypu hate yourself and while people. Just like put on a dress and join your group
He is definitely on here all day. I don't see AroundTheWorld on here all day. He gets up early and posts tweets from what I have seen. Chowd is weird. Aroundtheword is someone who has a job.
Hey the Dems did some good things during Biden to reverse some of their failed turn starting around 1980 primarily due to Bernie who the puppet master Obama united the party to defeat. They poorly marketed these accomplishments preferring to please billionaires many Jewish and alienate the average Democrat upset over their economics at home. Re propaganda it was Clinton who in a deregulation frenzy allowed the Repugs to control all the AM stations. I agree the Dems need to fight dirty weak triangulation, Joe's nice old guy thing , while he could still carry it off or Kamalian joy won't cut it. At least the Dems need to go down fighting over key economic policies like universal health care, higher minimum wages etc. and stick to it election after election and not quit flitting back and forth on new economic messages trying to do the impossible of pleasing the billionaires and the victims of neo-liberalism.
You lost me on the “Billionaires Many Jewish” part. The big thing that pisses off people apparently is this idea of identity politics. I think we can just say “billionaires” and a broader coalition of voters will be more inclined to join. Injecting underling anti-Semitic tropes isn’t helpful. Elon Musk is not Jewish. Rupert Murdoch is not Jewish. Tillman Fertitta sure as sh$t isn’t Jewish. … I think the Democrats need to take a lesson from Bernie on messaging a populist economic message where anytime anything is brought up… regardless of the topic you ALWAYS pivot to the real issue being billionaires distracting you while they rip you off. Keep it simple and focused. Constantly use every topic to turn to your advantage and boy will there be an advantage politically after a few months of a Trump admin that has Elon Musk at the top, passes giveaways to billionaires, and the working class sees their economic situation get worse… which it will. When we get passed the mid terms I think it’ll be obvious who the best messenger is that represents an outsider with an anti billionaire Bernie type economic populist message. I suspect though Barrack Obama might be the nominee for 2028 if I had to guess now. No way in hell Trump if he’s alive doesn’t get SCOTUS to allow him to run again and that means Obama also runs again most likely. Sounds crazy but I see no reason why SCOTUS won’t step in and let him run again.
I apply that to people who defend presidential candidates who say "migrants poison the blood of this country".
Yup it's very simple. Any topic that involves something that .01% of Americans face in their day to day lives you can easily pivot from and tell them it's a bs topic to discuss and not offend millions of Americans because millions of Americans aren't personally affected by these topics and therefore won't feel gaslit. Yes, this also means you can do this with the entire concept of a "border security crisis". The amount of Americans that actually experienced a negative violent interaction with a migrant is minuscule and won't make people feel like the politician is denying their lived experiences. The easiest way to lose voters is denying the lived experiences of people. There is far more risk in messaging a great economy in a country with massive wealth inequality because no matter how great the surface level economic numbers are, there will be millions still struggling to pay the basics and feeling gaslit from those claims of "great economy". I'm sure Trump lost voters in 2020 because of how often he would say the most over the top claims about the "greatest economy in human existence" type stuff.
@Xopher @fchowd0311 Kamala lost to Trump cuz Americans are the dumbest people on planet earth. Kamala should've planted her flag on the trans issues and she'd be president right now Its just remarkable how disinformation has completely taken over America. I've been screaming on these forums for years how disinformation was the #1 threat facing America. When you have braindead trolls @AroundTheWorld spewing disinformation 24/7 what do you expect to happen? The right knows how to lie
