With Lagway either out or severely limited PT-wise, on paper this looks like a very favorable game.

    On paper.

I'm sure somehow that drop was Quinn's fault

Howevah, the 3rd down pass certainly was

Well it was 5 yards underthrown, but the drop wasn't his fault.

He is an average QB, Manning will be elite....you want to win, you play the best player.

You're like the epitome of a Texas t-shirt fan. Ewers is not average. He may not be a the best quarterback in the country but he's the best quarterback Texas has had since Colt.

Certainly the best Ewers has looked in a while, hopefully he can build on it.

He really needs to get better with the deep ball. He used to be, I dunno what happened this year.

UT defense is ridiculous, as long as the O can do their part.

KPJ is not fast enought to be a WR, so why are we talking about him?

Does it seem to you like he's still hurt? An oblique injury would make it hard to throw deep.

On another note I am scared of this game. I know Arkansas isn't good. But, that fanbase will be out for blood against us.

Manning is better, Ewers doesn't process well, doesn't move in the pocket well, he is an OK QB, who has better athletes all over the field most days elevating his numberes.

Once Manning starts playing next year people will wonder why Sark waited so long.

At SEC media days in July, Steve Sarkisian inadvertently described a good portion of college football in a single line. "I feel like when you go to Arkansas," the Texas Longhorns coach said, "I almost at times feel like they hate Texas more than they like themselves. That's a real rivalry."

Funny thing is Sam Pittman said that he was probably right.

Arkansas hates us like no other team does. I don't even think OU or ATM hates us as much as Arkansas hates us.
