"Hitler keeps appointing white supremacists" That is what he said in that post... Explain how that is a joke.
The happiest I have ever seen Biden was when he put that hat on and when he welcomed Trump to the White House.
I was listening to Hegseth, the Sec of Defense nominee, talk about how bad it is that the US military is all woke with letting women in combat and LGBT to serve. You know what military has a lot of women serving in combat, allows transgendered people to serve under their identified gender, and even pays for gender transition surgeries? Spoiler The Israeli military.
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/on-trumps-foolish-futile-matt-gaetz-ag-nomination/ Nevertheless, Gaetz was among the leading proponents of the effort to reverse the results of the 2020 presidential election, which means he took the constitutional-law position that the vice president had the authority to invalidate electoral votes that had been certified by the relevant state governments — or, at least, to remand the votes back to the states, despite their certification, for further proceedings aimed at getting state legislatures to reverse the result of the popular election. No one who took such a position is qualified to be attorney general of the United States — the federal government’s chief law-enforcement official (other than the president) among whose most important jobs is to defend the Constitution. Case closed. Of course, that’s not the end of the case. Gaetz also dabbled in conspiracy theories that the Capitol riot had been led by left-wing radicals rather than Trump supporters, and that it may have been an inside job choreographed by the FBI. In this, Gaetz was either incredibly cynical or utterly incapable of grasping reality and applying basic criminal-law principles (no one gets entrapped into crimes of violence). In either event, he’s not AG material. The points Andrew McCarthy makes about Gaetz’s 2020 election overturning stances being disqualifying for AG should apply just the same for President.
Adam Silver was also there. Private Diana Ross and Jon Batiste concert. Klitschko, Agassi, Graf, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson...pretty nice event. Letterman looks like a hobo now.
Briefly considered it. Then I thought it might upset you and @Os Trigonum - couldn't bring myself to do that.
As a former grunt who was in a occupation that was not open to women, I witnessed first hand when the first mentions of possibly opening up infantry to women the reaction of my peers and I imagine it was the same reaction men felt when women started joining the work force decades back. Men need a sense of identity and purpose. For many men that identity gets stripped away when you allow women to do the same job as you especially a job you originally perceived as a type of job only a man can do. There was a crisis of masculinity also back in the day when the first wave of women entered the workforce many many decades ago. Many of my peers felt insulted as if part of their identity was stripped away.
Working on that as soon as I get home, currently in El Salvador.. Worried Trump wont let me back in...
