Cool cool - Sec Def nominee gonna be a clown bro Fox News Anchor who was once in the National Guard who likes to show his white pride tats on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/petehegseth/reel/CAYcBE8lYJV/
Here's the thing. Neo-Nazis organized the march to protest the removal of American traitor, Robert E Lee's statue. Folks showed up. They carried tiki torches, chanted White Supremacist slogans, and anyone that was appalled and opposed to those things left. Counter protestors showed up. A white supremacist murdered someone by intentionally running them over with their car. Trump did say that racism was wrong but he also said that there were fine people on both sides. The claim that there were very fine people equates the two sides. They weren't equal. Trump equated people counter protesting the neo-Nazis with the people marching with the neo-Nazis. Only one side was there to support the event organized by neo-Nazis. These were legitimate antisemitics. The other side was there to oppose them. Only one side intentionally murdered people on the other side. Those are all facts. You don't have to be bothered by Trump equating the two. That is your choice. But at the same time, you shouldn't begrudge others for being upset that the President of the United States would equate the two sides.
It is what Trump said he'd do. So you didn't believe Trump but supported him anyway. Yet you seem bothered by people who took Trump at his word and therefore were opposed to him. So here's my question. Illegal undocumented immigrants have committed a crime. If you are in favor of holding them acoountabke, what about others? Hiring illegal immigrants is also a crime. Are you in favor of punishing the owners of hotels, construction companies, contractors, and other small business owners who hired them accountable? What do you think the reason is Trump campaigns on punishing the impoverished undocumented workers, but doesn't campaign on punishing those that break the law by hiring them?
Did I say he was targeting white people? I’m not disparaging what demographic votes for him - but his base is white males and married white women because they are his largest segment of voters that went for him. He received more support from black men - but he didn’t come close to winning that demographic. Both parties have bases that they count on.
It doesn’t matter for the election that just happened - but Trump is going to run into issues on immigration if he doesn’t deport 10 million illegal immigrants based on what he has said, those in his team and his tough talking border czar. I don’t see Trump deporting even a million - too much effort and I don’t think he gives a **** about illegal aliens other than it getting him votes. Trump will certainly get the tax bills he wants because that’s what he actually cares about.
No, I trust Trump will carry out mass deportations. That's a good thing, millions thou? I wouldnt be surprised nor upset if it isnt millions. Its extremely difficult to do so...
Ya'll just cant seem to let go of lies and misinformation... That bill was $hit, it wasnt going to help the immigration crisis, it was going to grant aid to other countries and allow more immigrants in... Its been well reported that the bill wasnt a solution possibly not even a bandaid... You have to know this, you either do know the bill was bs but continue as a talking point or you are dumb... Yes, the border crisis is Biden and Kamalas fault. Yes it will be their fault in January 2025 as well, the people deported were let in by Biden and Kamala... Nothing will ever change that... Why yall keep trying to rewrite history?
The only people who should be punished are those that commited violent crimes or harmed others, illegal immigrants gotta go back... Its not punishment to take them out of the country they entered illegally.
Having your life upended isn't a punishment? Having family members deported is a punishment? You people are psychopaths and there is no amount of concern trolling and attempts to shame me into feeling bad that I think you are a bigot.
Facts But don’t be surprised to see a massive increase in ‘immigrant detention centers’ run by for-profit prison companies. Now that I think about it, that might end up being Trump’s true legacy- America’s gulags.
How dare you insinuate I voted for Trump!!! Now let me go on a 4 page diatribe ranting about how evil Democrats are and defend white supremacy….
Here’s my prediction. He will try to deport many but it will be very difficult, Congress will balk at paying it and as some of the deportations start many here who are here even legally under asylum will leave or go underground even further. This will Cause economic disruption. I experienced this directly in 2017 when a major project I was on suddenly got delayed when they couldn’t find drywallers. Trump will then back off the deportation plan and claim that he fulfilled his campaign pledge. It will be like his Wall pledge where Congress wouldn’t pay for it nor Mexico and only a fraction of the border was covered with new wall.
I doubt he would’ve felt that way if his family had been sent back to El Salvador in the 80’s instead of getting amnesty under Reagan.
He said 20 million will be deported. Again twist it however you want. You have already said you don't believe him.
He loves anchor babies like himself. Just not others. I'm not blaming him for taking advantage of it, anyone would. Why I think he is a piece of **** is because now that he got his he says "**** every one else." He has no moral character on this topic.
I have seen estimates that the amount of non-legal immigrants in the USA is around 11 million individuals. That is more than the entire population of Sweeden. Let me repeat that. More than the entire population of Sweeden With that being said, I don't care how tough anyone says they are about sending them all back, the logistics of this possibility seem to escape me. How the heck do you round up that many people? America has a lot more nooks and crannies than most countries. It just seems impossible to find everyone who is here now. It will be like Where's Waldo on steroids. This is not a comment on how we got here, Just that I do not see these "Roundups" as feasible in any way.
I'm going to ask again. Why did Trump campaign on going after the undocumented immigrants who are frequently impoverished and desparate to work, but didn't campaign on going after the hotel owners, construction companies, and other small business owners that hire them? Why do you believe that going after one of those groups is a winning issue, but going after the other group is rarely if ever mentioned?
