The reason optimism has gone down, and in my opinion rightfully so, is because: 1) we've seen enough games now where the script has not changed and shows no signs of changing, you can't play only one half of football and win games - that has happened with and without Collins and Anderson; 2) CJ Stroud is playing poorly..regardless of the O-line or Slowik's play calling, there are still plays there to be made and not only is he not making them, he makes crucial mistakes instead turning the ball over. The Tank miss in the endzone should NEVER happen.
I agree, but if we are capable of playing against the best team in the nfl and being a horrific screwjob away from winning, without our best offensive and defensive players, it’s fantastic. CJ showed he can still be awesome (sadly only for one half), the oline without kenyon looked more competent.

I don't necessarily mind this. We were in position to win, Nico Collins wasn't the reason we didn't. It was terrible coaching and bad execution from the offense at points.

That is where you are wrong. I never use injuries or the officials as excuses for why my team lost. Look back on my posts when the Pack played the Texans. A week before the game Texans fans here were already laying the groundwork for excuses. It is pathetic and immature. Real Packers fans would never stoop to that level. Not everyone here uses excuses, and I appreciate and respect them for that. Bravo.
