Nah, pretty sure a lot of us just want the ball to go to the best player more often, crazy I know. Udoka hasn't quite mastered that common sense thing yet.

Oh, major shooting flaws? Crazy but there's a guy who was drafted with the 3rd pick who is a lights out shooter. Funny, the coach can't even draw up a single play to get him an open shot. Hahaha. In your words - something something uneducated.

Alexandre also translates into crikey! Lucky we didn't draft that guy!

Yeah for once Rox lucked into not getting a higher pick. Sarr was pretty much "consensus" for most of last year.

Some posters here even said Stone should be fired for saying he had Sheppard no 1 over Sarr.

A win is a win. I would rather take a bad win 100x over a great loss or w/e BS is out there.

Nothing much needs to be said that other posters havent said.

I just want to call out Ben Sullivan and our player development staff. If one guy sucks ass maybe its an isolated event, but pretty much all our young guys lost their shooting touch. And this is after stories of Reed Sheppard staying after practices to hone his shot or Jabari and Amen training so much the coaching staff told them to stop.

Like what the hell have they been practicing? I know Jabari isnt the most athletic guy there, but why is he a shell of his former self in college 3 yrs after he got drafted? Dude is shooting below 30% on his 3s and doesnt know how to box out and rebound. Whitmore went from 40% last year to 0% this year on high attempts. Reed Sheppard went from Cocaine Curry to Ben Simmons. And Amen still can't shoot 3s to save his life.

Even Sengun started out playing like a scrub, Ime keeps saying he is out of shape and thats crazy cuz the Rox sent their staff to work out with him during the summer.

Our player development staff sucks ass plain and simple. The more they train a guy the worse that guy becomes seems like. We need an offensive coordinator and we need shooting coaches who know what they are doing.

I never bothered to go watch him play for the Perth Wildcats, and not a single person in Perth was saying "You have to get down to RAC Arena and check out Alex Sarr!"

James Ennis got way more local hype when he played for the 'Cats. I will never understand how Sarr ended up getting hyped as a possible #1 pick. Draft analysis is cooked

Its because Wembanyama just got drafted and he blew up like crazy. I remember when Dirk blew up all the tall white stretch dudes got drafted like Andrea Bargnani, D-Mo and a couple of other dudes I forget at the moment.

I think my biggest issue with Sarr is the dude doesnt care about winning. You can see he doesnt give a F about the game he just keeps jacking shots like he is KD. Its pretty funny he is teammates with Poole both of them dont give a crap of the lose every game and if everybody hates them they will just jack up shots regardless.

At least Bub Carrington looks good. if they get Flagg they suddenly have something there with Flagg, Bilal and Bub.

I was never the biggest Cam booster, but even I'm surprised he's now McVeigh on the depth chart.

I said this yesterday in the game thread, but again I'd like Jabari to show some consistency hitting the corner three.

And man I love the Tari and Amen combi, soo much fun seeing those guys hustle and make plays for the team.

Lmao he’s turned down wide open shots to pass it to guys like Şengün behind the arc.

Something is wrong. Either something drastically changed in their schemes and they're adjusting to it still or....I don't know. But I noticed it early when Sengun was struggling. Everyone seems worse this year. Everyone. It's not just Jabari. FVV. Dillon. Cam. Amen. Sengun there for a bit. I can't wrap my mind around it. Not sure what's going on. Sengun has been playing more normal lately but his averages are still a ways off of last year.

Were 7-4 largely because we got our customary Jalen superstar stretch early this year and because Tari/Amen are an absolute nightmare for second units. Also the real Sengun showed up.

whoever is telling our players to stop training so much needs to gtfo, seriously.
There's a disconnect here with the coaches and players specially in the offseason. We just tell them to enjoy your offseason and don't work on anything. Cam said he didn't touch a basketball in the summer. Meanwhile, the Warriors log every shot and every rep they do in the offseason.

And most of the teams we played were bad teams.

My wife said this morning "maybe it's that shooting tech thing they installed messing with their shots". Seems unusual that everyone seems to have regressed in their shooting.

Well, I suggested that Jabari should practice with that Noah thing to get his shot arc back up. Maybe he did and that's why he's doing so poorly. LOL.

or they're just working their asses off so much on defense that it's affecting their shooting. I suspect that's a large part of it

I don't understand why everybody is so pissy today? It was a sizeable win against a team we should beat. Yes, Jabari can't shoot worth crap, is that news? Even with him lauching all those bricks his +/- was still positive, though just barely, and he contributed a lot on the boards.

11 games in and we are first in our division and 5th overall in the conference. We have much to improve upon and not one of has even an inkling of an idea how to get there compared to Ime. Why so much b****ing and moaning, it’s gonna be an exciting year, chill.

That's an unreal stat. Add Sengun just wreaking the Wizards and it's no wonder they lost. I thought Reed looked very good in his 16 minutes. He hit his only three and might have had more if he'd been passed the ball when he was open behind the arc and calling for it, which happened more than once. His two buckets from midrange were things of beauty.
