Would have gone 30-20-5 with 5 blocks tonight.

Bari stank up the joint and AGAIN played more than Alpi.

I don't mind Alperen taking it easy in terms of minutes.

The last third of the season he will be up at full force, just before the playoffs.

Maybe we give a few more shots to the players that make shots? Simple-minded observations. :D

Lots of chirping early on from the usual idiots for the first few games about Sengun, yet in10 games Alpi shut down all the so called "Rockets fans". Love it, suck it haters!

Bruh was coming back from a pretty scary injury, and we have an entire year of data to see how good he can be.

Also, don't look now but the rim protection numbers are trending EXTREMELY WELL. Has he made another defensive jump? Let's cross our fingers.

For those who started threads about Sengun's questionable defense...

In terms of defensive rating, Sengun is the 3rd best defensive center in the NBA (minimum of 25 minutes played per game).

Just keep playing him with Tari and Amen. We're fine.

    Matches the eye test.

Which goes to show a hell of a lot of basketball watchers have no idea what the hell they watch on the defensive end.

Jalen stans writing a new chapter after Jalen records a 15 point, 3 rebound 1 assist stat line shooting 31% from the field with 5 turnovers.

Jalen has been clutch for this team time and time again if he has a bad game on the 2nd night B2B against a doormat team boohoo

Alpi seems fine with him, there don't seem to be any ego issues. I also mostly like Jalen.

Jalen adds a dynamic (although inconsistent) scoring element to the mix. I still think the most dependable players are Alpi, Amen, Tari, but I have no problem with Jalen, as long as our expectation is what we have seen the first 3 years - dynamic scoring, efficiency not super high. I wish he could improve his wide open 3-point shooting. I have seen some improvement in his 2-man game with Alpi. The silly turnovers continue to be frustrating (after he dribbled the ball off his foot for like the 4th time last night, I was wondering if he had had a few cocktails before the game lol), but hopefully he can limit those in the bigger games. He is sometimes good in the clutch.

I just don't see the "this is Jalen's team" or "the Rockets core is Jalen Green, that's it" agenda as being on point.

There is only one Demar DeRozan but his Old School Game could be applied.

For all the Chet glazing some have undertaken on this forum, Sengun and Eason are both higher than him in player efficiency. Sengun is top 10!

Sengun looks better defensively. He's running to the dunker spot and cutting off the lay uppers.

If only Chet would have fell to us. An Alpi / Chet frontline would be simply amazing. They would compliment each other perfectly.
