Best part of that first half to me is that Stroud is trusting his protection again, he's keeping his eyes downfield instead of looking down for unblocked rushers, and it's made a world of difference.
Sounds like he should be on the right side of the line then so that if he gets beats at least Stroud can see it coming. The team should still be looking at the Oline coach. This isn't over yet too the lions weakness on defense is pass rush right now. So maybe this is a one game thing, we'll see.
So are we still firing Slowik? He's done a great job considering his top 2 WR's have been out and Mixon missed 3 or 4 games. Players make a difference. Of course sometimes an injury can be a blessing. See: Kenyon Green.
He's been up and down... the reverse and the run on 3rd & 10 were headscratchers for me, but he's been more good than bad so far.
It should not have taken half the season (and an injury) for this Green, Patterson, center swap to happen. It's kind of a joke the Green farce went on so long.
When he’s not trying to reinvent the wheel he’s been fine. Shoots himself in the foot by being cute too often.
Shared blame with coaches. Kept on putting him out there, when it was obviously clear all year that he's not capable. Putting him back in after an improbable IN-game o-line benching is a head-scratcher. That only an injury to him put him out the lineup
